FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO OR STORAGE PROS PORTAGE TO ANYONE. I WENT TO VIEW A UNIT ON A SATURDAY AND AFTER SPEAKING WITH LIVONIA ABOUT MY MOVE IN FOR A WEDNESDAY SHE SAID THAT I COULD JUST PREPAY NOW SO THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO DRIVE BACK AND FORTH SEVERAL TIMES ON THE DAY OF MOVE IN. STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO AND STORAGE PROS PORTAGE SHARE THEIR FREE RENTAL TRUCK. I NEEDED THE TRUCK IN THE MORNING ON WEDNESDAY SO SHE CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT I COULD GET THE TRUCK WEDNESDAY MORNING. I TOLD BOTH KRIS AT STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO AND LIVONIA AT STORAGE PROS PORTAGE THAT THIS MOVE WAS STRICTLY BASED ON ME GETTING THE TRUCK IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY DAY WE HAD AVAILABLE. MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THE TRUCK BROKE DOWN, I WASN'T ABLE TO MOVE IN AND THEY SAID THEY'RE KEEPING MY MONEY BECAUSE THEY DON'T REFUNDS AND I SHOULD GET THINGS HERE IN MY CAR. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND FOR A UNIT THAT I WAS NEVER ABLE TO USE AND SAID TAKE IT AS A LOST. SOME BUSINESS!! BEWARE PEOPLE

Don't use these ppl. They keep charging you more. I set up a plan with manager on payment and they keep upping the cost I just got 30 days late and now they add $50 auction fee??? Now I planned on paying 206 and get my stuff out now I get an email saying I owe 269 and my due date is sept 9??????? NNNNOOOOOO so I guess I cut my losses and hope I have my old family photos hidden somewhere and NOT in storagw

Storage PRO RIP OFF
I rented a storage unit because they advertise a $50.00 reduced fee to any one that refers you...They admit that they screwed up when the first month, then the second month, they did NOT do that! BUT said they cannot issue a refund or the $50.00...well because they just can't! I moved out after giving plenty of notice. Was told maybe..just maybe their would be a refund. But so-called upper management said simple "we don't do that." after at least a dozen phone calls. I will never rent from Storage Pros again. My family and my friends will never rent anything from STORAGE PROS.

Storage Pros hours of business are 8-5 on Saturdays. I arrived at 10:40 am to pay my storage fees. There was no one there. Lights were out and doors were locked. I waited for approximately 20 minutes before I left to go to work. While at work I had received a message on my cell phone letting me know that the store was back open and I could come back and pay my bill. Since I was at work and no longer in the area I waited until later to pay. Each day I was constantly receiving messages and being hounded about paying my bill. I f someone had been at the establishment during regular business hours the bill would have been paid. I later received a bill adding a late fee of 20 dollars which I believe was not right because no one was there to take my payment. Save yourself the hassle and do business with someone else.

Horrible company never rent again
Submitted intent to vacate and charged for 3 months post vacating with auto payment. Was told it was all my fault, even though they had paperwork. District/regional managers offer no support. Lucky if they even return a phone call. Will be seeing them in small claims court, AG Mail sent, and consumer protection report filed. Horrible company, horrible/no customer service. Management is rude, and inconsistent. This is my issue, I cannot elaborate more to 100 words. A a a a a a a a a a a a a A a a a a a a a a a a a

Worst PLACE EVER
Never ever rent from them! Damage from hurricane sandy to all my belongings. refused to submit insurance claim. then charged me extra fees for late payments for the belongings that were damage but told me i couldnt move them till they settled the insurance claims this place is the rudest and worst i have ever used. this place needs to be closed. then it was raided by the police for people keeping drugs in their storage unit... and they claim they are secure with guns and drugs on the property. they are never responsible for anything found a new one up the road cheaper cleaner and nicer people

Storage Pros Waterford, MI AVOID THIS PLACE!
Storage Pros in Waterford, Michigan is the WORST storage facility I have ever seen. The place is dirty, unkept, and the storage units are frequently broken into (despite their 'security'). I had several thousand dollars of property stolen, and the manager on the property, Stephanie Kleczynski, couldn't have cared less. She was actually rude! The fees they charge are the highest I've ever seen. Be careful what they make you sign! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! ..if, not your belongings, your checkbook. If you're wise you would find a better, cleaner and more SECURE place to store your valuables...not to mention cheaper! I would avoid this place at all costs!!

Storage Pros Waterford, MI AVOID THIS PLACE!
I regret using the storage facilities at Storage Pros Waterford, Michigan. The place is dirty, unkept, and storage doors never closed properly. I had several items stolen from my unit (despite their so-called 'security'); and the attending Manager there, 'Stephanie Kleczynski', was rude and would not assist me. She was even yelling at another customer when I walked in the door! The late fees are HUGE at this place too! Be very careful what they make you sign..YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!! If you're smart, there are MANY other places for storage...AVOID THIS ONE! PRICE GOUGERS, AND BAD, BAD MANAGEMENT!
