From the day I moved in one year ago I have had mold issues including having it grow on my entire wardrobe and shoes in my closet back in September. I have spent numerous holidays and three day weekends dealing with this issue instead of enjoying my family.
Today, I have put in yet another request to remove black mold from my unit that they just painted over 2 weeks ago!. This has been an ongoing problem and I have asked multiple times to be either be moved into another unit, fix the actual problem, or be let out of my contract. This issue has still not yet been fixed and I have heard nothing back on releasing me other than they won't let me out, they'll continue to paint over it. The problem is not fixed when your maintenance crew comes in and just paints over the mold.
This is now the 5th request and I have heard nothing back from Samantha R who assured me that it would be taken care of this time for sure, that was 2 weeks ago. I can no longer get in touch with her and her email address that I was corresponding with her on is no longer valid. I need to speak with someone who can actually help me with this ongoing problem and release me from this ridiculousness. They also mentioned that I could sublet it out for the remainder of my contract.
Seriously, who wants to move into my moldy apartment?!
This has been an absolute nightmare. Every time I have a long weekend or break I am dealing with mold in my apartment and nobody here seems to care about the well-being of my family!
