- - 7 iron shaft cracked below the grip on day one; replacement took over a month.
- - 6 iron cracked on first use; refund denied due to 30-day window.
On my first day out with my new Stix golf clubs, I went to the range. The third swing with my 7-iron, the graphite shaft cracked just below the grip.
I contacted Stix that day. More than a month later, the replacement iron arrived. It was a different finish and style of club. On my second round with my new clubs - the first time using my 6-iron, the graphite shaft cracked just below the grip.
I reached out and requested a refund. Stix has refused, stating that it was past the 30-day window for returns. But that was only because they failed to provide a replacement 7-iron for more than a month. They continue to offer a replacement 6-iron but have denied my request for a refund multiple times.
I have been a golfer for decades.
I have never broken a club. This product is obviously defective, with two clubs breaking in a handful of swings.
