Help Remove a Dishonest Lawyer from Practice
I hired this person in good faith to help me with my business tax issues and paid him an extremely large retainer. Each time I tried to call him, he would return my calls a week or more later screaming profanity at me for bothering him with petty questions. He charged me $450 per hour to make photo copies because he has no assistant. He bragged to me because he had worked for the IRS, he new all the tricks to scam the IRS in order to save me big money. He told me the IRS will never find out because the people that work there are so stupid. When I questioned his methods, he got pissed off and threatened me. I had to check his work with a CPA and learned that he missed the deadline to file a protective claim with the IRS, resulting in huge monetary losses. After learning of his incompetence, he refused to return my retainer. Instead of resolving my tax problems with the IRS, he totally messed up my business affairs, ruined me financially and stole my money. This person is nothing short of a smooth talking con artist. He uses his license to screw people with tax issues. I put my trust in him hoping he was qualified, but was I wrong. He talked the talk but didn't walk the walk. After being scammed by him, I ran his name through google and he has a track record of screwing his clients.
