Poor customer service

Ordered an expensive piece of furniture, arrived poorly constructed and unusable. When we tried to cancel our order they insisted that we have another piece made. We do not want another piece after the shoddy construction of previous piece. They will not allow us. Delivery now way into December for a piece we ordered in February. Shameful!!Stay away!

i received a phone call that my cabinet should be returned by august 24th. i will update if this occurs.

the sales staff at the 25th street nyc showroom could not be more knowledgeable & helpful. the delivery staff was amazing. but, the customer service i received post sale is beyond horrid. the quality of their furniture is not living up to their reputation. additionally, there is no accountability! i emailed when the stickley bookcase cabinet i had purchased in november 2018 started to warp, & the door was unable to be closed in april 2019. from sheri abate, local to the manhattan showroom, to mark who was a regional person. communication was the first issue, weeks of calling & emailing without any action. the second issue was taking vacation days for someone to show up with a screwdriver & level, never having seen the pics i sent of my failing furniture issues. which then started the communication issue all over again. it is 4 months, my cabinet is non existent, the customer service is non existent, the furniture quality is not living up to any reputation stickley may have had. i have wanted this furniture for 20 years. very pricey, & completely not worth the price or aggravation spent with customer service. theoretically, my cabinet will be delivered in another 10 days. just a note that the staff who fixed the cheap hinge on my bedroom armoire were amazing. i have had better quality furniture from ikea & the container store, no issues, lasted many years.

Quality has deteriorated

Over the past 30 years my wife and I have been purchasing furniture from Stickley first and foremost we appreciated the quality and design, we've always been fans of mission style furniture. Although we continue to love and admire the artistic / design of the furniture I have to say the quality has definitely deteriorated. The most recent purchases we've made e have definitely been inferior. Gaps in joints, poorly fabricated parts and tables with legs that we're not cut properly resulting in a table which rocks back and forth. I hope these issues can be addressed otherwise I see the unfortunate dimiise of Stickley.
