Verified Reviewer |WORST DEALERSHIP IVE EVER DEALT WITH
- Spent 3.5 hours driving for a 2024 Sentra with $1,000 deposit.
- Car had dents, a broken tail light, vibration at speed, and missing under-dash cover.
To whom it may concern,
worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Buying a 2024 Sentra for my wife for Mother's Day, they had pics on the website that looked great.
They told me the car was perfect. I put a $1000 deposit down on the car. We drove 3.5 hours there; the car has about 10 dings and dents, and they never told me that. Then my wife noticed a broken tail light.
They gave a bunch of excuses and had a dentless repair guy come to fix it, so now instead of being in and out like I told them when I put the deposit down, we were there for over 3 hours. They stole a tail light off another Sentra in the back lot, I believe. Okay, everything seemed fine. We got on the freeway home in bumper-to-bumper traffic until we were about 2 hours away and they were closed.
I got the car up to speed 65 mph and there was a vibration, a pretty bad one. I'm like WTF. So we got home; I then noticed the under-dash cover for the fuse box was gone/missing. So the next morning I called, but everyone I dealt with was off that day.
WHAT? Okay, so I called the next day and got hung up on 5 times. Then Eric, our salesman, just blew me off. So then I called again to talk to Rene, the sales manager.
After being hung up on numerous times and being blown off by Eric, and there's now at least 3 of them I was told, I'm kind of upset. I told Rene how I was feeling, and he started yelling and arguing with me, telling me it was not his problem. He said to call service and speak to MaryAnn. So I did that, got hung up on again, called back, and I told Mary about the car's issues.
I told her instead of us driving another 7 hours and wasting gas, I'd just take it to a local dealer to diagnose the vibrating issue. BUT NOOOO, it's not in the contract, so she would have us drive 7 hours to have them look at it. No common sense. So I took the car today to Smith & Son Tire in Bakersfield.
They had the car for about a half hour; come to find out the 3 wheels were never balanced when they put new tires on, I guess. No weights. It cost me $60. So instead of caring about the customer and doing the right thing, they would have had me waste 7 hours of my life, hundreds of miles on the new car, about $70 in gas.
Overall rating of this dealership, its staff, and service department from 1 to 100 is a minus 1000.
Don't waste your time and money. PERIOD...

Misrepresented maintenance package, unresolved warranty repair and missing door guards
- STG Auto Chandler: Lexus purchased; Ascent $1,100 promised refundable; alignment issue fixed by Lexus for $140; $175 guards charged.
In September I purchased a Lexus from STG Auto Group in Chandler. During financing I purchased the Ascent maintenance package for $1,100 after confirming with the finance manager (Craig) that it was refundable.
I later discovered the package is not refundable, which conflicts with what I was told at the time of sale.
Additionally, the vehicle had an alignment issue STG indicated was covered under their warranty.
STG attempted repairs on five occasions without resolution. I subsequently took the car to Lexus and paid $140 for the alignment repair, which resolved the issue.
Finally, I was charged $175 for door guards that were never installed.
Desired resolution: refund of the Ascent package, reimbursement of the $140 alignment cost, and refund for the uninstalled $175 door guards (or installation as originally charged).
User's recommendation: Avoid STG Auto Group; they misrepresented the maintenance package, failed to fix issues, and charged for items not provided.

Verified Reviewer |Bad Customer Service
- Started paperwork before the vehicle arrived; no test drive; vehicle scratched and dirty.
- GAP insurance was added without asking; delays with manager.
Had me start filling out the paperwork before the vehicle was even at the site. Then got no test drive.
The vehicle is covered in scratches and was told I could come back and get them buffed out. I was handed paperwork to turn in when I returned. I returned 2 days later and was told they wouldn't honor it, plus the salesman wasn't there. I asked to speak with the manager and waited 3 plus hours for no one to come out to speak with me.
The vehicle is dirty, the headliner is dirty, The body is covered in scratches, It has no acceleration, the seats are dirty and to this day no one has tried to contact me about these problems.
Also charged me GAP insurance without asking me. They just added it to the price.
- Very bad customer service

STG Auto Group deceitful from top to bottom
- Truck arrived dirty inside with stains and bed damage.
- AZ registration promised but CA plates issued; extra $495 added to price and poor follow-up.
My wife and I came to STG Auto group based on a 2017 truck with low mileage offer for sale.
When we arrived at the Garden Grove location we found the truck to be filthy dirty inside with sweat stains in the seats, cigarette burns in the headliner and a huge section of paint missing inside the bed of the truck. My wife had seen a 2018 used truck in the same add so when the salesman Kevin finally showed up for our appointment we found and test drove that truck instead. During the “deal “we told Kevin and Bill we wanted our registration in Arizona. Bill said that would be no problem but he “just needed our California address to start the financing paperwork”. Bill returned several time throughout the process and at one point reconfirmed that we would receive the Arizona plates for the truck. During the review of our contract we found an additional $495.00 added to the internet pricing. When I confronted Bill about the pricing he said their advertising says they can change the price of the sale based on accessories. Although this was just another indication how underhanded this dealer is, my wife and I wanted the truck and agreed to the additional monies. Fast forward a month later California plates and registration arrived for this truck.
My wife called the salesman Kevin who did not return her call. When she finally got him on the phone he said he knew nothing about it and could not help. My wife then contacted Bill for resolution but she did not receive a call back. I contacted Bill to follow up on my wife’s questions and he said he had no recollection of her or the issue. I reminded Bill of his commitment to register the vehicle and he denied the conversation ever happened, and then said “it’s impossible to register a vehicle bought in one state in another”. If Bill had been truthful when we started the transaction, we would have gone back to Arizona and waited for the right truck there. Bill said he would work on a resolution but he never called back.
I placed several calls to Bills supervisor Mondo and explained the false and misleading statement of his staff . Mondo said he would follow up and call back but he never did return any call.
I made several more calls to STG and spoke to the General Manager Mike at the Ontario location. Once again I explained the facts and added all the issues that have been building up, the fact that they place a dirty damaged vehicle for sale with no mention of the condition, the bait and switch markup of the internet advertised price, the blatant lying on the registration, and the lack of follow up by his staff .
Mike said he would look into the situation and call me back. Like everyone else in this unethical company Mike never called back. I called him 5 times in the course of two weeks and he was not available any of the times nor did he return any of my multiple voicemails.
It’s a shame that unscrupulous dealers like this will do and say anything to make the sale. My mistake was not researching registration for cars before talking to this bunch of thieves. The $495 over payment is definitely my mistake to own since I “wanted” the truck and had spent so much time in the dealership. I still will point out the deceitful advertising that apparently says (in small print somewhere) that they can change the price. (They charged me for tinted windows although they did not tint them?)
At each level in this organization I found apathy and a lack of ethics. My surprise was to find this extends all the way to the top of this organization. I would urge anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle steer clear of STG Auto Group.

I’ll take “No Common Sense” for $100 Alex. Clue- Seven hour round trip.
Answer- What is the amount of time it will take to/from to get warranty repairs on my used car ( that was NEVER going to change ) that I failed to take into consideration? Common Sense INDEED.
