We would appreciate it if this dealership would take the vehicle back for the amount we currently owe on the loan.

My husband & I needed a second vehicle quickly and we didn't want to incur a lot of debt. Given the lack of dealers in the Mesquite, NV area, we went to Stephen Wade Toyota in St.

George, UT, to check out a nice-looking 2008 Toyota Highlander. When we arrived for our pre-arranged test drive, the vehicle was parked with it's windows down. This should have been our first clue. When we took our drive, the vehicle smelled strongly of orange, which our salesman explained by saying, "It's just s detailing solvent and it will dissipate in a few days." We went ahead and purchased the vehicle, which was in really good shape for the price.

Afterward, the orange smell dissipated all right, only to be replaced with a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. Ugh!! I called our salesman who said he'd check with the detailing company they use, and his follow-up call basically said sometimes the smell never goes away = too bad, so sad. So after having the vehicle professionally detailed and my husband giving the vehicle a deep-cleaning twice, it still smells so bad that I won't ride in it.

It makes my eyes water and I constantly sneeze when I'm in it. I am convinced that it is unhealthy to drive this vehicle and it's too bad there isn't a regulation requiring dealers to disclose this type of information.

In the alternative, this dealer should have been up-front rather than covering it up. Very disappointed with this dealer.
