My issue is not resolved. I had an issue with booting to windows.

Instead of fixing it the owner decided to wipe my hard drive and tell me it was broken. He said I needed a new hard drive AND a new Windows OS! He wanted $300. I just feel like that is a shady business model.

This guy is a huge rip off.

I got my computer back and fixed it myself. My hard drive is fine.

I replaced my graphics card in my PC. I got the fans and the fan controller wiring a little crossed up and my PC wouldn't POST correctly.

I could turn it off and back on and it would boot up just fine. I brought my PC to Step Ahead Computers and he charged $90 for a diagnostic which is kind of high... Two days later the guy calls and tells me that my hard drive is bad. He says that I need a new HDD and OS.

it would be $300 more!

Clearly the guy was lying just trying to scam me! I really hope he didn't mess up my hard drive.
