I was accused of playing a piano and was scolded like a kid in front of my son
My two sons were having a piano evaluation at Steinway and Sons in Roseville,CA.While we were waiting,and standing because of no seating,one of my sons and I were looking at a piano and reading the information about it. Out of nowhere,the sales person loudly exclaims"Do not play the pianos!"He comes over to us insisting he heard "notes played"I said it wasn't us(In fact,the only playing was coming from the evaluations going on in the recital room)He then covered his ears in dramatic fashion and said"They have practiced so long"Indicating he didn't care to hear me.In fact,I just stood there embarrassed and tried to control my temper for the rest of the time I needed to be there,as I would not want to upset our music teacher,whom I respect.At the end,I did come back and snatched a business card from him.He said he surely heard two notes and he was protecting the store.I almost started crying as I spate out that he didn't hear anything because nothing happened!

Mistakes happen, but your immaturity is showing when you say you almost started crying. Why in God's name didn't you just keep your mouth shut?
I would not have kept my mouth shut. I would have insisted on speaking to the manager of the business.
How dare an EMPLOYEE represent a business in such a fashion! I am appalled that even one person online is in favor of this type of rude behavior by a paid employee!
