They have fake 5 star reviews too! As an absolute LOVER of the real Baccarat 540 Extrait I have bought it many times from my local fine department store.

At $945 a bottle I was excited to find it on the Steadfast Mall website. Although I had never ordered from them I did look at a few reviews. They have a TON of bad reviews for the Dyson hair dryer they've sold but I didn't see allot about fragrance. I thought that maybe they just bought a bad batch of the hair dryers so I decided to give them a try.

Boy was that a mistake! They sold me fake Baccarat 540 extrait for close to $600! I have pictures of all the ways to tell it was fake as well as videos I can provide. The label had tissue underneath a supposedly new bottle, the label easily lifted up in one corner of bottle, the box was not the original, the pamphlet that came with it inside the box was damaged, the weight was off, the gold is lighter that the gold on the real one, the writing on the bottle is bright fire engine red and the real bottle is a deep blood red/maroon color, the sprayer is not the same as the original, the QR scan label on the box brings you to a disconnected telephone number, not the Maison website as it should.

The extrait has a higher oil concentration on the real bottle so I did a napkin test. Within 25 minutes the napkin that I sprayed with the fake perfume had cleared completely NO OIL PRESENT, while the original real one I already had left an oil mark which was still present 24 hours later. The corners on the gold label were all worn and silver!

This list goes on and on!

Then to add insult to injury they messaged me that they would only give me a refund (because I sent it back to them the very same day and notified them it was fake) if I removed my bad review. I'll be setting up a Yelp profile of their business as well as one with Google to submit pictures and videos of the fake bottle they sold.

If they have scammed you too please know that you do have options to get your money back as well as report them to the following:

-Better Business Bureau

-The Intellectual Property Rights of the United States Government as it is illegal to sell fake perfumes like Maison in this case.

-The attorney general of your state as well as theirs (Washington)

-UPS/FedEx/USPS as it is ILLEGAL to sell fake items and ship using these services.

-I will also submit all information to the Maoson perfume house so they can pursue this scam business!

-As well as the local county tax office as it is illegal to collect taxes on fraudulent items.
