Rented 2 homes was told the day we were scheduled to check in we were told one of the homes had no water and they couldn’t rent a home with no water. They moved us to three different homes

The three homes totaled for less then we paid and then one home had no water!!! They tried to make it something I should have been grateful for when they cheated us out of money and told us we needed to use one of the other homes!!

They then were smart *** and door dashed is 2 gallons of water. We had no water and never fixed it!!

THEY KEPT INSISTING I LEAVE A POSITIVE COMMENT!! Why would I!!

Stay Minty' asks for your ID, plus a selfie of you holding your ID with the word 'Stay Minty' written on it and the date. I've tried to talk to representatives, but they were so rude and talked over me to the point that I actually told her to shut up, but she did not.

Why would anyone need a selfie? This is all alarming. I booked through VRBO to have peace of mind and a sense of security. Now, someone else is involved in your check-in.

There is no information about 'Stay Minty' on the internet. CEO Meredith Garrett needs some training with staff, and VRBO needs to cut this middle person out.

Horrible customer service and run down cabins

I rented a crummy cabin in the Smokey mountains TN. Upon check in, the place was not clean, the beds looked like they were remade and there were tons of maintenance issues including the hot tub not working, the pool being cold, multiple light bulbs out, trash all over the outside of property, broken soap bottles, nasty shower curtains, mold in the shower, the list goes on.

Customer service reps are not even from this country so they are absolutely no help! Paid for 3 nights but ended up leaving the second day. This place is trash and from the way their customer service reps try and help you, it shows they do not care about their customers.

I would have stayed at a motel 6 for this kind of service and cabin. At least they have better WiFi and breakfast.

Terrible Communication

Pros:

Lots of space

Great location

Indoor pool

Hot tub

Plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash

Cons:

-no outdoor TV

-1 arcade game

-every knife is very dull

-no baking sheets

-1 set of dish towels

-no pot holders

-no broom (but had a dust pan)

-no all purpose cleaner

-limited silverware

-no coffee maker (there was a Keurig)

-no Alexa in the pool room

-no air hockey or pool table

The large table was wobbly. Seemed to have loose legs.

One chair leg came completely off. The top step on the main level was loose and eventually came off (explanation below).

Communication is a HUGE issue with the Stay Minty Management Team. Our stay was booked for January 18. 3 days after a HUGE snow/ice storm in the area.

We were concerned that the roads were not driveable. Tried to stay in constant contact with Stay Minty. We were told they would let us know about the roads early morning of check in. At 9am we called, no reply.

At 11am we called, no reply. Finally after looking up the address on google maps, we found the cabin across the street (Treetop Treasure) and a phone number for the owner, Called Mike at Viewtiful Cabins. WOW!! What a helpful man.

He assured me that he was looking at his cameras and the roads seemed to be clear. (We will be using them next time).

It was unusually cold during our stay, and one of the heating units stopped working twice, and could not keep the bottom floor/game room warm. The first time heat quit working, we were snowed in and were at the cabin when the maintenance man arrived to check out the unit. He stepped on the top step and broke off the edge that had been loose.

(we were stepping over). Also, he did not have the code to get in the locked room, so he had to remove the hinges off the door to get to the breaker box. (we did too, when we were asked to check the breaker, before they would send anyone out). Somehow, he got the heat working again.

The next morning the roads were clearer and we decided to venture out and check out the sights, upon leaving we noticed the heat had quit working again. We texted (they hate talking) to let them know. It was repaired when we returned. That night we got a reminder text that check out was at 10am the next morning, but for an additional fee we could stay later.

And that the cleaning staff would be at the cabin at 10am sharp. Trying to stay on the positive side, maybe Stay Minty would have allowed a late check out if asked and waive the additional fee, but it would have been nice to have them offer that since we had been in the cold for quite a while.

Overall would not recommend dealing with Stay Minty!

My group and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Stay Minty in Nashville, Tennessee

I recently went to Nashville with a bachelorette party of 15. We stayed in the Boogie Nights 26 & 27 townhouses in East Nashville and enjoyed every minute of it.

The hosts are very kind and responsive.

Stay Minty has an entire team to help and you can contact them any time. Check in and check out was seamless and the price was super reasonable compared to other options.

The townhouses are in a great location, super close to Downtown Nashville and pretty much anything else you'll want to do. The location is in a gated community so it felt safe & the Uber rides around town were reasonable prices.

We absolutely loved the Boogie Nights décor. There are disco balls everywhere and everything is just so fun and bright.

The place felt clean and had most of the basic necessities.

The only thing we noticed were small imperfections like a crack in a picture frame or a blemish on the wall. But we joked that it just felt like a lot of people have had a great time in these places - it didn't impact our stay negatively whatsoever.

My elderly mother rented a vacation rental for our whole family for our last Christmas together as a family. Unfortunately our father passed and he was unable to go with us.

So we made our mom go and the house was NOT was it said it was going to be on the website. She paid over five thousand dollars for this trip. We paid extra for a heated pool and spa as well as propane. We didn't get a heated pool and we got propane 2 days later.

We had roaches so bad my mom ended up bringing them back with her. The property manager Theresa was rude, and her and her "people" are liars. She said she would refund my mom if we found something new which we did and she did not follow through. She sent three different people over to fix the pool and finally sent an actual pool company.

The pool guy told us there was no way we were going to have a heated pool it was broke. We have pictures and text to show what we were suppose to get and what we actually got.

Karaoke machine was horrible the foosball table broke, and air hockey tables plug was tapped up. We had two three years old who constantly wanted to swim including a 9year old and an autistic 7year old who did not understand why he couldn't.

I made the mistake of booking 2 cabins, side by side, for my daughter's wedding in pigeon forge last year. We were so excited that all of the family coming in from out of town would be able to stay together and we would be able to spend time with them.

All of this was fully paid for months in advance. 4 days prior to everyone's arrival they called wanting more money. I paid it because I needed a place for all of us to go. Then the manager called wanting an additional $2k because of the possible party for the wedding they knew about from the time of booking.

I explained this was family in 40-60 yo range and 3 children. I am not sure what kind of family that manager comes from but she was insisting the money. She told me she was cancelling my reservations and to find somewhere else when I refused after already paying a few thousand.

I did eventually get a refund about a month later and was able to find a wonderful hotel that was beautiful , clean, and comfortable for all of us. The manager even gave us a discount because of our troubles that I made sure everyone knew about Stay Minty, and allowed us to meet and have cake in their conference room at no extra charge.
