2008 Nissan Altima Review

I own a 2008 Nissan Altima And I was just driving home on the Verrazano bridge and I heard a very loud noise over my head and then I felt like it was draft in my car. When I arrived home checked and my sunroof was gone.

This is a very dangerous situation.

Luckily my shade was closed. Which probably protected me from injury.

Staten Island Nissan making serious lies

Bougt a car at Staten Island Nissan. The lender found out about several illegal lies they told me to convince me to sign, and immediately closed the loan.

I called the dealer (1 day after the signing) and they told me to bring the car back and they were keeping most of the down payment. I told them I will bring it back, but want my money back due to the lies..They refused and I still have the car! I've tried to come to an agreement with them, to purchase the vehicle at the advertised price, or to give me my money back and yet they refuse.

It is one month later, I still have the car and they have not contacted me back yet. Filed for small claims court and awaiting the date.

Nissan Mechanic failed to tighten Tie-Rod to Tire on '04 Murano

I own a 2004 Nissan Murano. The front Tie-Rod inner coiling/threading was completely worn due to mechanic not tightening the left front wheel to tie-rod when they worked on the suspension in August 2011.

This past Friday, February 17, 2012 as I was driving, my tire completely disconnected from the tie-rod and I lost control of the car. I could have lost my life. Luckily, I was near a repair shop and the mechanic came over to try and screw the rod back into the tire so we can pull it into the shop, but was unsuccessful because the inner coiling was completely gone! He explained that the previous mechanic who worked on it did not tighten the wheels back to the rod so over time, the inner coiling that holds the wheel to the car/stirring/accelerating was wearing each time I drove & it finally gave up and collapsed.

He explained that he had never heard or seen anything like this in his 37 years of work and the carelessness of Nissan's mechanics infuriates me!

Id like to file a complaint and a lawsuit but do not know where to begin. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their car?
