Do any humans actually work at Department of Families & Children?
- - Applied for SNAP Oct 3; interview date passed.
- - Cannot reach a human; calls loop to voicemail.
- - Left three messages in two weeks; case pending.
I applied for food stamps around October 3rd online. I received a letter saying I needed to have a phone interview, but the interview date had been three days before I got the letter.
After checking the status of my application & not getting information I began calling the three numbers I had. Not one of them went to a human, just went around in a circle until hanging up on me. One number said the voicemail was full, another no answer. This has been going on & on.
I was finally able to reach a voicemail that said leave my info & they would get back to me within 24 hours, I've left three messages in two weeks.
I've contacted the governor office, and the attorney general, being assured by both 5hry would help. I'm still waiting for that help, any help. I'm a senior on a fixed income & having to decide between medication or eating, not easy to decide.
I really need the help of the little stamps I'll get.
Does anyone have advice for reaching a human? My case just says pending

Rude shltty customer service esp black males

Men have serious issues esp black males. I work in customer service and I always treat everyone with respect. I talked to a female from unemployment white one and she was really nice.
