Missed delivery coz you don’t let people know you’re coming

The company didnt let us know when the parcel might be delivered then they left a card which had an illegible con no.
Then it said at a post office. But it was at parcel locket and no code was sent through to access locker.

- One-hour notice for 4/1/2024 delivery and a Blue Star Track Card.
- 132345 confirms the parcel not checked in after the failed delivery; only SMS.
I had to collect the parcel myself. A 40kmh drive.
I noted the instructions on the Blue Card and phoned 5/1/2024 to confirm the package was ready for collection at East Arm Darwin.
StarTrack uses a generic 132345 number. An operator helped and confirmed about 9am someone would call me back to confirm collection as East Arm is very isolated and is 12Kmh from me.
At 1.30pm I called 132345 again, and also checked on the StarTrack Website. The parcel has not been checked in from the failed delivery on the 4/1/2024.
I was told all I could do was wait for a SMS that the parcel is ready to collect.
This is terrible service and could have been improved by contacting me earlier that a parcel delivery would occur on the 4/1/2024, not just messaging when the driver is nearing the delivery point. Also check the item back into the depot or try for redelivery etc.
