Questionable customer service
OK, this is directed mostly at Start11 app, which is the one I tried out for Windows 11 PC to solve some changes. The trial period was nice, but the only customer service or support seemed to be directed to the forums.
If I am going to pay for a product I would want more than to ask a question on a forum. Some who paid for so called pro support basically say its the same type of support.
Personally, I thought the Start11 app wasn't worth the money for what it did. You can find free products that do almost the same thing.

Even though the customization is good...
You shouldn't have to pay for this.
You can literally change sounds without even having to buy SoundPackager.
Order not delivered.
Don´t buy from this company - ever!
They take forever to answer any tickets and their whole "renew" system is totally unfriendly for consumers who can´t find their old installer files.
My last order was not fullfilled, but of course deducted from my CC.
All in all, id say stay away from any Stardock products.

On April 16, 2015 I tried to purchase the Start8 software as I was going to run out of the trial period. I clicked on the link that appeared on my screen and it gave me an option to pay using debit card. I made three attempts to pay using my debit card (issued in India) and each time it showed 'transaction couldn't be completed'. However, soon I received notifications of deduction of Rs. 128 thrice (roughly 6.2$) from my account. So more than double the amount of software was deducted from my account and I didn't even get the software.

My Personal and Professional opinion on Wincustomize and Stardock is that I would NOT recommend you or anyone else spending money on their software. They are very unprofessional and are not customer oriented.
The admins are rude and obnoxiousness and are less than customer oriented. I had been a memeber since 2006 and after years of uploading Dreams to the site I've deleted all my work and uninstalled their software from my computers that I purchased...
I'm out the $60.00 bucks, so let me save you your money. Jefo and Redneck Dude seen to it that they were as rude as they could be and they can stick there nose where the sun don't shine, not the brightest of dim-wits.
Stardock don't deliver or refund as promised
I purchased a 'digital download' of one of Stardocks games. However, I was not able to download or use the product and Stardock was not interested in resolving my problems and have been dismissive towards my objections.
The 'digital download' is presented dishonestly and is deliberately misleading as you don't actually get an install file, you have to run it through another system.
Even though I can't use the product and my account has been deactivated, they still refuse to provide a refund.
Their customer service as appallingly bad and whatever assurances they provide prior to purchase are utterly worthless. They don't behave honestly or fairly towards customers and are just out for a cheap money.
