Resolved: Starcrest Cleaners - Zipper Replacement Review
I took a child coat in to have zipper replaced. Asked clerk how much and she checked list and stated $12, and that it takes a little more time because they send their garments off.
Go to pick up today im told its $49.25. The clerk today really wasnt trying to understand and hear me. Why would anyone pay that much to have a zipper replaced on a $30 coat. I guess he called himself giving me a break and charging me $24.25.
Not at all happy or satisfied. A ripp off. Then i ho home and examine coat.
The stiching where zipper was replaced is very shabby. Will not be going back.

the service at starcrest on 208 N. Prospect Road was the worst of all time.
checked in some curtains and told the front desk man multiple times to be delicate with them. i come back a week later and i bring my curtains back home to hang them back up and i find that they are in shreds. there was even a note in the fold of one of the drapes saying i should file a complaint. meaning they KNEW they *** my *** up and successfully hid this fact from me in an effort to get paid for the cleaning.
well i think its *** how i paid $130 to have a bunch of strangers destroy my property.
i demand a full refund on top of restitution for damage to my property. im NOT afraid to get a lawyer involved!!!
