they will not return flowering plants even if the whole plant is dead i bought a replacement that was on sale and it died in less than 12 hours and was charged full price for it they wouldn't even return the difference but the young lady manager at pahrump shop told me when i asked her for another 1/2 dead grass plant she said "oh i have a lot out there but you'll still have to pay for it"

I called in a head to get the price on the rock the landscaping rock for the front yard of the house that I'm remodeling you gave me the price I sent my worker down there drop my trailer sent my worker down there with just my pickup truck he took him 2 hours I don't know why but you guys are probably busy and come back with little boulders basically some were 5 in some were 6 in some are six and a half inches some are four and a half inches small swims 4 and 1/2 in plain and simple it was a nightmare from then on out as you will read my email back to whoever sent me the first email

- - Purchased ocotillo cactus from Star Nursery in late January; it died after the 30-day return period, and no replacement was offered; paid over $300.
Purchased an ocotillo Cactus from Star Nursery in late January and had it planted by a professional landscaper. Since these plants are dormant until the weather warms up, we did not realize that it was dead until after the 30 return period had ended.
We paid over $300 for this cactus and after contacting Star Nursery we were informed that they would not replace the plant. We purchased a new home on over a 1/3 acre lot and purchased approximately 100 plants/trees to have it professionally landscaped. We had multiple trees/plants that died with our initial purchase, so shame on us for purchasing the ocotillo. Buyer beware!!!

We called Star Nursery we were informed that they would not replace the plant. This is not the first time we have had a problem with their cactus.

My Android phone app has not been working for some time now. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no success. Has anyone else brought this to your attention?
Any suggestions as to how I can successfully reinstall the app besides what I have already tried?

Bought purple leaf plum tree on June 30, most leaves are gone. Can I return for refund or get different tree?

- - Both died in 2 weeks; Star says a 30-day warranty only if not planted, and they are not replacable.
Purchased 2 sage plants and had my landscaper plant them. They both died within 2 weeks, when I asked Star about replacement they said the plants are warranted for 30 days only if you don't plant them. Once planted they are not replacable.

This company has the worst customer services
- - Customer service was rude and unhelpful.
- - Complaints to HQ got no response; calls ignored; return policy is poor; there are better plant shops.
People at this company are very rude, I had a bad experience with customer services & I summited a complain to the headquarter company & It didn't go anywhere. Everytime I called to know the status of my complain they just ignore my phone calls. After they see my phone number, they just send to the voice mail & the return policy horrible.
There are better places to buy plants with better services.

- - Asked Star Nursery to order two Shoal Creel Chaste Trees; they claimed they don't take orders due to shipping and had them in stock but no price.
I called Star Nursery in Washington, Utah to inquire about purchasing two Shoal Creel Chaste Trees after researching small landscape trees online at Monrovia nurseries. Monrovia no longer sells their products online to individuals, however, they do list places that purchase products from them.
Star nursery was the closest place to me in their listing. Upon calling Star Nursery and inquiring whether they could order two of these trees, she immediately tried to put me off by saying that they don't do orders because of the shipping cost. At no time did she offer to verify if they might have these trees in stock and it quickly became apparent that she didn't even know who Monrovia was or that Star nursery carried their products (frequent their store and have seen many Monrovia plants there). After I ask if she could check their inventory, she informed me that they did in fact have them in stock but could not find a price.
I informed her that I could give her a credit card number over the phone for the purchase of two trees but would be unable to pick them up until the weekend (this in Wednesday) because I live 85 miles distance and I am on emergency call at the hospital where I work Thursday and Friday. She proceeds to rudely inform me that they can only hold the plants for two days.
I am sure I have purchased several thousand dollars worth of products from Star Nursery over the last few years, however, rest assured this will be my last purchase from Star Nursery. Maybe the store should stop hiring young teenage girls that address customers in that immature teenager tone of voice and who know nothing about Star Nursery's products and are put off by the fact that you would even ask!

Star Nursery Las Vegas, NV - DONT BUY THEIR PLANTS !!!!
- - Star Nursery plants in Las Vegas had fungus gnats indoors.
- - Outdoor plants were overwatered and died in weeks, and the exchange policy is limited.
I've sent a small fortune buying indoor and outdoor plants at two Star Nursery locations in Las Vegas, NV and I have spent even more time returning plants that are infested with fungus gnats ( indoor ) and over watered outdoor plants that last about 3 weeks then start showing signs of really poor care that I finally said enough is enough. My house has become infested with gnats and even worse than spending money for UNHEALTHY plants I was even more pissed that Star will only exchange one potted garbage plant for another.
I will never shop there again. Home Depot and Loews at least have a 1 yr refund policy when they sell dying or unhealthy plants. Star Nursery biggest tight wads selling *** and doesnt back up its quality by keeping customers happy and infesting customers homes with fungus gnats and its never ending larvae - then spreads to the rest of your plants that eventually die and kill everything = you have to go out and buy all new plants.

I purchased a large box tree during a sale, but could not take it with me at the time. The procedure is to write your name on a ribbon/tape & tie around a branch, which I did.
I returned with a person hired to pick up the tree & plant it, 5 days later....and my tree had disappeared. The only tree like mine had not been watered & they did not offer to rectify my situation, other than sell me a different tree in which I had to pay more money. In my opinion this was a bait & switch....and even their corporate office would not respond after I told them of the situation. I have been buying from them since I moved here in 1988, so I am QUITE disillusioned, especially since we have a new house we are landscaping & have spent considerable $$$$ this past year.
Not only did I lose my tree, but the money I spent on hiring a guy to take care of it. BEWARE!!
