Little hilter "greeted me as i drove in" very rude about my parking. He needs a attiude check

i almost drove away but decided to go in where the staff was very good and spend over 400.00.Little hitler who works in the rock section needs a attitude adjustment. he seemed to not like my driving into the parking lot

Rude and inconsiderate store associate

I called Star Nursery in Washington, Utah to inquire about purchasing two Shoal Creel Chaste Trees after researching small landscape trees online at Monrovia nurseries. Monrovia no longer sells their products online to individuals, however, they do list places that purchase products from them. Star nursery was the closest place to me in their listing. Upon calling Star Nursery and inquiring whether they could order two of these trees, she immediately tried to put me off by saying that they don't do orders because of the shipping cost. At no time did she offer to verify if they might have these trees in stock and it quickly became apparent that she didn't even know who Monrovia was or that Star nursery carried their products (frequent their store and have seen many Monrovia plants there). After I ask if she could check their inventory, she informed me that they did in fact have them in stock but could not find a price. I informed her that I could give her a credit card number over the phone for the purchase of two trees but would be unable to pick them up until the weekend (this in Wednesday) because I live 85 miles distance and I am on emergency call at the hospital where I work Thursday and Friday. She proceeds to rudely inform me that they can only hold the plants for two days. I am sure I have purchased several thousand dollars worth of products from Star Nursery over the last few years, however, rest assured this will be my last purchase from Star Nursery. Maybe the store should stop hiring young teenage girls that address customers in that immature teenager tone of voice and who know nothing about Star Nursery's products and are put off by the fact that you would even ask! Star Nursery Las Vegas, NV - DONT BUY THEIR PLANTS !!!!

I've sent a small fortune buying indoor and outdoor plants at two Star Nursery locations in Las Vegas, NV and I have spent even more time returning plants that are infested with fungus gnats ( indoor ) and over watered outdoor plants that last about 3 weeks then start showing signs of really poor care that I finally said enough is enough. My house has become infested with gnats and even worse than spending money for UNHEALTHY plants I was even more pissed that Star will only exchange one potted garbage plant for another. I will never shop there again. Home Depot and Loews at least have a 1 yr refund policy when they sell dying or unhealthy plants. Star Nursery biggest tight wads selling *** and doesnt back up its quality by keeping customers happy and infesting customers homes with fungus gnats and its never ending larvae - then spreads to the rest of your plants that eventually die and kill everything = you have to go out and buy all new plants. You suck Star Nursery!

Pre-paid plants may not be there when you return!

I purchased a large box tree during a sale, but could not take it with me at the time. The procedure is to write your name on a ribbon/tape & tie around a branch, which I did. I returned with a person hired to pick up the tree & plant it, 5 days later....and my tree had disappeared. The only tree like mine had not been watered & they did not offer to rectify my situation, other than sell me a different tree in which I had to pay more money. In my opinion this was a bait & switch....and even their corporate office would not respond after I told them of the situation. I have been buying from them since I moved here in 1988, so I am QUITE disillusioned, especially since we have a new house we are landscaping & have spent considerable $$$$ this past year. Not only did I lose my tree, but the money I spent on hiring a guy to take care of it. BEWARE!!
