Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Car in shop for 1 month and half
My 2018 Grand Jeep Cherokee has been at the dealership since 9/1/2020, with suspension complications. The ride on that vehicle has been bad since 2019. Whenever the car was taken to the dealership for maintenance, we were told different reasons for the problem and a bandaid was put on it, until the next time the car was dropped off with an issue. Since that time, Star Jeep in Queens Village has been giving us(my husband and I) the run around for almost 2 months. No one really knows exactly whats wrong with the car, no one EVER return phone calls and no one provided a loaner or rental(they want us to pay out of pocket and then they will reimburse us- for almost 2 months). We were given a phone number for customer care and they havent been able to assist us either. I have requested assistance with paying the car note, as we are receiving no interim assistance; but, I was told that I have to wait until the car service is completed. The professionalism on the dealership and the customer care department is horrible. I have to call the dealership and customer care rep( Katryna) back at least twice a week, because they NEVER call us to give an update( if any). I was told two weeks ago that mr car was ready and the dealership was test driving it to make sure it was good. As of this complaint, I have not heard from anyone. I made three trips to the dealership and the Director Alex has reportedly never been there. When I call, he has left for the day; poor leadership all the way around. At this point, if my car has been in the shop for almost two months, I should get a new car replacement. One day I called and was on hold for almost 8 minutes. Help!
