These people ripped me off of four thousand dollars. They sent me pictures of seats that looked like brand new.

I went in faith and ordered.

What I received was a set of ripped, very molded, damaged seats that I could not use, all but a small part of the parts.I tried to get my money back from the credit card. But, this place convinced the card company that the problem was mine.

I have emailed, called, text, both them and the credit card company and tried in vain to retrieve at least some of my money with no good results.

You could not pay me to order from them again.

After looking for their physical address on the map, it is nowhere is to be found.I believe this to be a complete scam.

I needed a headlight for my Jaguar. The salesperson told me they had it and sent me a picture of the car that it would come from.

He said it would go out by next Tuesday or Wednesday. This was on a Thursday. He said they would send pictures of the headlight before shipping. No contact from them; I waited several more days and called, and the salesperson said, 'Oh yeah, we were just talking about it; it should be going out soon.' I waited more days, called again, and they said, 'Oh, that headlight was no good, so they did not send it.'

I paid $1,200 for this special headlight.

At that time, they put the manager on the phone and was so slick. He said, 'We have two more cars coming in next Tuesday or Wednesday,' and unfortunately convinced me to wait.

Next Wednesday, I called and was told the truck was delayed. I called at the beginning of the week and was told that they could not send pictures because of the weather (no kidding).

I was furious; I told them just to refund me. Shortly after, I got pictures of a headlight that had broken tabs that are essential for the installation. Then I saw that they screenshotted a picture from another company's website—the same exact headlight that I had been considering. I called and demanded a refund.

I was told I had to pay for the labor and inspection of the light. So out of the $1,245, I received $925. I have never been swindled this badly.

I wish I had checked them out first. They have a Better Business rating of F.

Based on all the recent positive reviews I see for Star Auto Parts without any that are at all negative, I can only guess these reviews are fake and submitted by people associated with the company. As far as I am concerned, they are a bunch of lying *** who quote one price and when it is time to purchase they double the price they quote you--if they truly have the part. I was told they had my part but broke it when trying to remove it from the car. But, don't worry, "we have another of the exact same car with the exact same part. " Whoops! We broke it again.

"Don't worry we purchased the same car with the same part at auction in Texas that we'll have in February--4 months later. We'll have it for you then."

February came and they claimed to have the part--at two and a half times the price. I complained and they called to say they would sell it at the agreed upon price. They wanted to charge my card and I said not until they sent me a photo of the part. They sent me a photo that was totally different than what I was looking for. They had the catalog number and photos I sent them from before and knew exactly what I was looking for. They went ahead and charged my credit card (unauthorized). When I called to say it was the wrong part they told me they were reversing the charge on the card.

That was it. They had no intention of selling me the part after I waited 4 months. Their whole business is a sham and a scam. Try to speak to the manager (Shawn)...Impossible. BE AWARE THEIR BBB RATING IS "F." Any 5,4 3, 2 star ratings must be doubted. NO BUSINESS WITH AN "F" RATING ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SITE WOULD GET ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS YOU SEE ON THE BBB REVIEW PAGE (AS OPPOSED TO THEIR COMPLAINT PAGE).

They sound so polite with their clipped Indian English accents. Don't be fooled. They're frauds!

Be very careful when dealing with these people. There was a part I needed.

They said they had it for $450.00. I agreed as I really needed it. That's when the price went up. Now it was $745.00 I paid it.

They then sent me an invoice that said $450.00. Several times I contacted them to send me a complete invoice showing what the extra money was for. They just ignored me. I was a repeat customer but never again.

The part was for my drivers front seat. It was installed in my car. The seat now moves forward & back and tilts up and back ok. It does NOT move up and down.

I'm already stuck for the installation so I'm living with what I got. I could not find the part anywhere else.

I have been battling with these guys for two weeks. I placed an order, realized it did not match our car.

Texted and emailed them less than 24 hours after placing the order. The receipt stated you can cancel within 24 hours. Told them it was the wrong model. Told me they had another one, they would send pictures.

A week later I finally received the pictures. The parts were not ones I would want on my vehicle. Told them no and to refund the $2500+. Been battling with them for a week even after they sent the receipts that showed I was being refunded.

Deposited part of the money, then took that amount back. Called, they said they sent the receipts we need to dispute with our bank. Which is exactly what we did. Just don't do business with them!!

Save yourself the time and grief. They will lie to you, if you do business with them, get everything in writing.

thought I bought a camshaft. THEY SENT ME THE ENTIRE CYINDER HEAD.

I had told them repeatedly that I needed the driver left side camshaft. And they seemed to know what I was talking about. So I didn't worry, until now. My order just came in.

I paid way too much and now I know why. I will not be going through them again and I hope people are aware that they didn't even secure the package properly. How does two triangle box's hold a 50 pound engine part in place. It doesn't!

The part was flopping around when the ups guy was hanging it to me. Iv been searching for months for one part and I was given the entire head. They refused to give me my full refund, I DID NOT APPROVE THE PICTURE I DIDN'T APPROVE FOR THEM TO CHARGE MY CARD. I WANT MY MONEY $345.

They skipped a step and I have to suffer for their mistake, I shouldn't be on the phone for an hour yelling, cursing and crying just to get my money back. You don't treat people the way your employees treated me.

Was promised a great engine long walk that was gonna be Is run tested for smoking. Compression check to make sure it was a working condition.

Visually inspected for problems.

Received engine with metal in the bottom end number 7 hole was so full of oil and the plug so foul it couldn't run didn't go any further than this told him I wanted my money back they didn't do anything at all until I finally threatened them with lawsuit still wouldn't refund my money then they tried to make me jump through a ton of hoops stressing their 30 day warranty over a lump iron that never should have been shipped and they lied about its condition who will not provide Vin number for the cart came out of will not provide proof of mileage of the vehicle when it was pulled Which is suspicious as *** Then when my mechanic called them with proof that the engine was bad they said they were gonna replace it even though I've already bought another motor because it's taken so long and I'm running a car they do not care about you your business or the quality of what they sell they buy the Cheapest piece of junk they can get delivered and then they rely on frustrating you and running you around until you run out of money trying to repair your broken car these people should be put out of business by some Attorney General but in today's days and times consumer affairs is just a total Lack of interest by government do not buy from these people. Do not buy from this
