Verified Reviewer Junior ReviewerAnswer the phon at Stanford Cancer Center before I die!
I called around 4:30 to make an appointment and they refused. They said I first had to have a referral. Why? So I said I could get the referral and asked where to send it. She said she did not know and hung up on my. So I call back and they are closed. Then I call the operator and she is a trainee and does not know. Finally another operator said he did not know but thought it might be the referral center but he did not know the phone number. So I call back get the phone number from another operator and call them and they are closed. I was on the phone for an hour trying to find out where I send the *** referral too. Why can't they stay open longer and tell their operators what the address of the Cancer Center is so I can bring the referral. I googled the address and I am going to hand carry it to the Center and get an appointment to save my husband's life. I wish I could to somewhere else but San Francisco is too far on the bus. I think my husband is going to die before I can get the referral, make an appointment and get some help. I think they are getting too big for all their patients and to cheap to hire staff to hire people past 5:00. Cancer does not wait for Monday morning so why should I. !@#$%^

Amreen Husain is a very Bad Doctor
If you are a cancer patient and you want to survive, you better for look for a doctor other than Amreen Husain at Stanford Medical Cennter. She missed diagnosing a tumor for about five years and kept telling us everything is ok, until finally another doctor caught the tumor, but it was too late. So if you want to live, stay away from Amreen Husain and Stanford Cancer center. A complaint was sent to Stanford Hospital about her. They said that they performed an internal review, but the review is confidential. They would not disclose to us that they found her to be a bad doctor, but they like her because she makes them a ton of money charging for very bad operations and procedures.

I couldn't agree more with you as I had 1 appointment with her and I will not go back! I suspect there are many more unhappy patients that do not have the savvy to go out on the Internet and post a complaint!
