Compaint Unattended since 2013

Dear Concerns My serious grievance towards the SCB Pakistan was started since I swapped my personal loan outstanding balance from silkbank to SCB Lahore only on several visits of sales person from standard chartered bank to me. however, the transition of BTF was done successfully even I borne premature termination charges to the silkbank where the loan was running in very good state. A total of Rs. 181,801.37 was amortized for payment within 60Months with EMI Rs. 5,026.64. later on the same marketing officer came to my office and appealed for further support as according to him he was under several pressures from SCB management for targets achievements, and offered me to avail more facility of Rs.150K. I refused him straightly as I was not indeed of further loans at that time. After some day it was shocking when I received a call for receiving of pay order of Rs. 150K from the same office and a revised plan with 60 equal monthly installments @ Rs.9,666/- was delivered at my office address. I immediately refused to avail/receive the payment instrument from the branch and asked them to show me the application for enhancement of my facility. so the facility was enhanced from 181K to 350K without my consent and willingness.I immediately contacted the complaint management unit of the SCB by calling on the given helpline number from where I got ample support which should be appreciated (acknowledged me my Complaint # R001/08/13/011896/C01 Relationship # 82308****) . They took 10 working days to investigate my grievance, during the investigation of the bank same marketing officer came followed with a call from his team leader a lady that the job of this staff is in danger based on your filed complaint against the unjustified extension of the facility. However, again on humanitarian grounds I said to him that if this amount shall be adjusted I ll write to the SCB management if any soft corner could be given to him. after 10days time I received an intimation letter from the SCB that the excess amount has been adjusted in your loan amount and the revised old amortization schedule was delivered to me and informed me to pay all EMIs @ Rs. 5,026.64. which I am still paying to the standard chartered bank since 2013. after 2 moths I applied for house loan from my Ex- Employer NIB Bank and they refused to extend me the loan facility due to high Debt Burden Issue due to misreporting of Standard Chartered Bank Limited. However, I made call to the SCB to stop reporting of limit amount of Rs. 350K and change on and the same letter was also handed over to the branch of SCB but after laps of considerable delay when I stopped one payment of Monthly installment that why you people are not replying me on my grievance. since that time I am chasing the Standard Chartered Bank Limited in Pakistan to stop misreporting of my case to the SBP ECIB but still misreporting with limit amount of Rs. 350K is continue even I am paying my monthly installments regularly. I am professionally a banker and always feel unethical for going into the Legal knocks and main cause that I am still waiting for correction from bank side. My humble request to all the concerns and executive bodies of standard chartered bank in Pakistan to please look into my case and direct the concerned department to make correction as I have to avail facility from my employer and i don't want that this reporting may cause any hurdle form me. Dear sir, I consider my self a victim of the imposed and forceful and shere mannerless style of services offered by the bank at mall branch,lahore.It happened when i went there to update my address attached to my account. The P.R.officer there started following me and forcibly made me sit on a chair and started narrating the details of insurance and investment products.He introduced an investment-insurance plan which seemed acceptableto me and so i signed after his completion of procedural formalities.I asked him to provide me a copy of agreement which he did not provide at thetime of signing.(he was supposed to provide a copy at that time)He only posted the copy about after one month of signing the agreement and after my repeated queries.To my surprise(on ist sight,it was rather shocking) it was a completely differentplan with rather conflicting terms or truly interpretting opposite terms and conditions.After this accident,i complained to bank about this misdeed.The bank did certain investigations and concluded that my invested money would be returned back to me.However,this did not happen and now they are declining to pay back my money.Most probably,they want to cover-up the blunder of their employee.So my request to relevant authorities is to assist me in getting my money back and keep up with the bank commitment to return the invested money as they did agreeafter doing their internal investigations.The details of deed are as under;Name of plan:Mustaqbil takafulApplication no.440823****428Illustration no.823********NaName of participant.Ajmal Ahmed chughtaiThanking for providing an opportunity to expressmy concerns.

I have my joint account with my wife at mall road, Lahore. I was asked by the branch management to send my Pak Identity card few months ago. I sent a letter, explaining that as it was not safe to send my card by post, I will show my card when I come to Lahore next time. I did not receive any reply but I was surprised and disappointed when my cheque was returned unpaid to Pakland Housing Ltd, Karachi, stating that my account is frozen.

Can anyone at Standard Chartered Bank assist me in unfreezing my account. I must pay this instalment on my plot in Karachi as soon as possible.

Awful complaint mechanism of Standard Chartered Bank in Pakistan

SCB in Pakistan never take complaints seriously.... i have had numerous experiences with them... there staff will never listen to you cz they know that the complaint mechanism is not functional.... due to which many of my friends have shifted their bank accounts to alfalah..... so be carefull if the complaint mechanism can be made satisfactory then this bank has good services but the staff behavior is unacceptable and people like banks where they are given proper respect other wise all the services of all banks are the same. if the complaint mechanism is functional in any bank the cant even dare to talk to you in disrespectful way.............
