Stan Pike took my money over a year ago and quoted me 3 months to complete a cabinet. 13 months later, I still have not received it.

He has not sent my money back after multiple requests. He has stopped responding to my emails and phone calls entirely.

This man is a swindler. Do not give him your money.

He has $500 deposit form me for an album unit and I have not heard from him and he will not respond to emails or phone calls for the past 3 months.

I ordered a record cabine in August 2018. At first I was concerned due to web reviews that I read after purchase.

Though it took a bit longer than anticipated, the cabinet is an exquisite piece of furniture. Stan is a craftsman and a gentleman and I would surely do business with him again.

I cannot express how much you should avoid this business. The seller repeatedly delayed when the item would be complete.

The item was supposed to be built in 3 months. At 9 months the business stopped responding to correspondence. At around 12 months the business was finally notified that the credit card company would be retracting the payment. At that point, the business (Stan Pike himself) contacted the writer about past correspondence and claims the item was "almost done." Both these claims were proven to be lies.

Fortunately, I was able to get my money back from the credit card company. A search of online reviews shows that I was fortunate to at least get my money back. Others were not a lucky.

This is the worse business I have ever dealt with. Again, I cannot express how much you should avoid this business.

I didn't see the reviews of Stan Pike Designs before I ordered from him. I ordered a record storage cabinet from Stan in April of 2016 for about $1200 and was promised that it would be shipped out in 8 weeks.

After that promise wasn't met, he said that he was slammed with orders and that I'd have my cabinet by the end of the month. He kept responding to my monthly emails about the status of my order and always had an excuse and a new expected ship date. It is now almost Feb 2017 and I still haven't received my item. It is past the terms for PayPal to do anything to help me with this issue and I guess I'm out a chunk of money with nothing to show for it.

Do NOT buy from this man.

He should be flagged on every site that lists him. Find a more reputable company to buy your furniture from.

Similar to others' experiences. Initially was very responsive to my request to order a custom double horizontal record cabinet.

Once the deposit check had been sent, his e-mails only served to string along the process until ultimately stopping returning correspondence via e-mail or answering any phone calls or voicemails. $612 deposited and an 8 week turn around promised...over 7 months ago.

Today I cannot get in contact with him, and have no reason to believe the product will ever be created or delivered. Do not believe this man, I wish I had done more research online to see what is an obvious trend of him scamming people for their down payments, without any intention of delivering the product.

I also have had an issue with Stan Pike. I sent Stan a down payment of $800 in January 2015 and was promised a cabinet to be completed in the spring.

Then it became summer and more promises. I called the attorney general in Massachusetts. They have been trying to track him. He says there are family illnesses and he cannot keep up with orders.

I am advising to not send this man any money as you will probably not receive a product.

I am going to keep after him.

I contracted with Stan Pike to construct two, five drawer CD cabinets on 12/09/14 with a $1050.00 deposit and a promise of a spring delivery. spring.

Spring came and went and Mr Pike soon stopped returning my emails or my phone calls. It is now almost April, 2016 and still no cabinets or returned deposit.

I have no idea what Mr Pikes problem is, but it seems that other people have had a similar experience. At this point, I just like to have my money returned.

I purchased a Vertical Record Cabinet from Stan Pike via Etsy. While the shipment was many months later than promised, I finally did receive the item and it is wonderful.

I also paid Stan Pike $1,025 via PayPal for a Double Horizontal Record Cabinet on Dec 8th, 1014 . Because this was a "custom order", Stan asked that I not order via Etsy, but rather pay him directly.

For some months, Stan would respond to emails explaining the delays, and ensuring me that "my order was next". Unfortunately, the product never shipped, and he stopped responding to emails and voice mails after September 1, 2015.

I hope he is ok, and responds to his customers soon.

Following several small orders, i discussed a custom cabinet over a year ago, making a large down payment...there have been numerous emails which garnered no response for quite a long period of time ... I would then receive a email with one excuse or another..this has gone one for some time.

Finally i was promised a completion date, which of course was not met. Since then i have written a bevy of unanswered emails and now left with no choice but to discuss the matter with my attorney and bank...considering all the similar complaints i hope he's not allowed to operate any business in the future as he shows no regard for his cutomers and is obviously a criminal

I also provided a down payment of $800 in January of 2015 and was promised the completed cabinet by 'spring'. I have tried multiple times to contact.

No other word except a reply in on 6/29/15 saying these project take time.

Sadly, we are experiencing the same issues as above reviewers with Stan Pike Designs, and I seriously lament that we did not read these reviews earlier! We ordered and paid $2800 for custom stereo cabinets a year ago in October of 2014 and was told we would have delivery in 6-8 weeks.

We have received nothing expect periodic bouts of excuses: "not enough wood, inundated with other (surprise) orders, ill through summer etc." At this point, we only want our money back and do plan on taking him to small claims court. I hope this helps other buyers avoid our fate.

Paid $2,800 in October 2014 for two storage chests for delivery by Feb. 2015.

No delivery or word by February. Months of emails and calls and only received an excuse of went to Florida. In July, requested refund or delivery of product. No response to our requests for a call to discuss resolution.

It has been ten months and no product or refund. Filing a BBB complaint and will take to court if no luck.

BBB indicates that there are seven current complaints and very few have been resolved - most are unanswered. Appears that he has been doing this for years.

I wanted to buy a CD chest that was a really nice piece of furniture. I looked on the internet and I found "Stan Pike furniture maker" that had some really nice apothecary chests that you could order and he would custom make.

He was really fast when I inquired about the wood and the kind of chest I wanted to order. He even Fed-Xed the plans for me to look over. The price was to be $2720.00. Half was due when I placed the order, the other half due a few weeks before he was finished.

I sent the first half via Pay-Pal and he supposedly started on my chest. This was in August 2010. I sent the balance in February 2011 of $1360.00 because he said he was almost done. I sent several e-mails during the following months.

He would take several weeks to get back with me and he would apologize saying the work was taking longer than planned. I have tried to contact him via phone and e-mail ever since and have not gotten any response. So I am out the $2720.00 with no apothecary chest.

This guy is a *** man and I am writing this in hopes that the word will get out and he will not rip-off anyone else. I have given up all hope of receiving my apothecary chest.
