Let me start by saying Stacy Adams is one of my favorite brands of dress shoes. I have worn them for over 35 years and have been extremely happy with the quality and feel.
Over the years, I have had many pair resoled until they could not withstand another new sole. However, I purchased a pair approximately two years ago and only worn them at formal and business events, maybe a half dozen times and they looked and felt, until this past September the finish on the uppers began coming off. . The soles and insole barely show any wear, but the finish is coming off the upper portion of the shoe in large sections.
I went to a shoe repair shop that has resoled several of my other pairs of shoes, and was informed that they could not do anything to replace the finish.
I was going to just throw them away, but thought that I would write your company to see if there was a possibility of obtaining a replacement pair. I still have the shoes and took photographs of the defects that I can send your company as proof.
I would have sent them with this message but there is no link to upload the photographs.
The shoes in question are: Men's 24283-** **.5W, leather with man made material, leather linings and balance is man made material. They were made in China.
I tried contacting Stacy Adams customer services through the official website, but I kept getting a "your mail is temporarily unavailable" message.
