Mastectomy supplies

I tried Liberator Medical for prosthesis and bras for a double mastectomy. However, I couldn't try them on so there was alot of returning products.

However I have never had that problem with Stacey's at all. They have been kind and more than accommodating in every aspect. I have never had a bad Customer Service experience at all in my 5 years of going there. Have always been very compassionate.

I used to work in Customer Service for 25 years so I know how sometimes the public can be very demanding.

Currently I am waiting a return call about one of my products and will call and check on today. But I have no worries I know that they will make it right.

It is not always the Customer Service but sometimes believe it or not it is the Customer!

Staceys - Never again!

I ordered the dress, size and color were right, but the work is done terribly! Brown atlas has sewn with white thread :)).

The embroidery is cheap glass and is tightly sewn. The dress on the websait and the sent dress are completely different.

The certificate they send with the dress is a big joke:))

My mistake was that I did not investigate before the manufacturer's location, I trusted the website's confirmation that the company is located in England, as well as the signs of a secure place to buy :))

They cheat on customers and I intend to give my negative opinion to all opinion portals. I hope this helps other people avoid this!

DISASTER!

Staceys - DISASTER!

Spent over $1000 on a dress that fell apart. Had to go buy another dress for my wedding!

Stacey has been nothing but rude and dishonest about the whole thing and is claiming I must have done something to my dress! Absolute nightmare! Wish I would have read the reviews before going in there! Staff is pushy and smell like booze!

Spent way more than I wanted too! I have a dress that was never worn at my wedding that will always be a reminder to me of how people can really be! ... ....

I would file with small claims court. You will get your money back that way.

It's an easy process and they have to pay court costs. Good luck.

Worst customer service experience of my life!

GO ELSEWHERE! I am not one for usually writing reviews, but the horrible experience I had at Stacey's deserves to be shared.

I went to a few different places to look at dresses and ended up finding one at Stacey's. The initial consultation was a good experience - pleasant sales person, a variety of dresses, and no issues. Shortly after I made my deposit on the dress (over a year before my wedding), we had some changes to our venue and I started to worry that the dress would no longer work. I called Stacey's right away to explain the situation and to see if I would be able to look at a different dress instead.

They had me talk to my sales person who shared several times how it would be no problem at all. He said I could come in anytime, didn't give me any deadlines, and when I questioned him to make sure everything would be okay, he shared with me that he is actually taking over Stacey's. So, I felt better about it since I am talking to the new "owner". A few months passed and I didn't get a chance to get in, I was still planning details, and even the venus situation (hotel versus beach).

I didn't feel like I had to rush to get in, as nobody gave me a deadline, And the "owner" himself told me I can come in anytime no problems. Fast forward to a few months later, I call in and I am told that the person who claimed to be a new owner is no longer there and the promises that he made me, the store wasn't keeping. I understand not having good employees, but that should not be taken out on the customers. Stacey finally said she will honor it, but that I would have to buy a more expensive dress.

Mind you, I never wanted any money back, even if I got a less expensive dress. All I wanted was a dress that would work with my new venue. When I did come in to look at new dresses, the sales lady that was assigned to me told me that I can't look at anything else. I was confused, as all this time I was told that I would be able to.

I asked to talk to Stacey, and that is actually when this experience got even worse. She came out of the back, storming at me, yelling that I can't look at new dresses. This was in the front of the store, with other customers around. She was rude, condescending, and overall embarrassing.

I kept talking to her nicely asking her to honor the promise that her former employee made, but she continued to be completely awful. She did not apologize once, had no regard for me or for the other people in the store watching this mess. I could not believe that someone would treat a customer this badly. Awful person, no better way to put it.

I don't know how she is still in business. If you want to be respected, treated fairly, go anywhere else but Stacey's.

As I said, I do not write reviews usually, no matter the experience, but this was the worst person and worst customer service situations I have ever been in. After reading reviews, there were sooo many that talked about Stacey and how horrible she is - I wish I could have seen them before giving my time and money to her.

I called Stacey's and asked if the had any 24-28 prom dresses and I was told yes so we drove 2 hours and when we got there they only had dresses that go up to 20 and the lady helping us left us didn't help at all and the were not nice about it when I asked for help

I agree. DO NOT make the mistake of buying wedding attire.

Hidden fees, ride customer service and their dresses are shipped from CHINA.

We had a nightmare and nothing was done to solve the issue. Such a shame that such a beautiful moment has to be ruined by a store who is only out for their well being.

Stacey's saved the day with my daughter's wedding dress

I have bought several prom and homecoming dresses at Stacey's for our two daughters, and we have always been 100% pleased with the customer service and quality. Recently they saved the day with our older daughter's wedding dress, which had been altered (incorrectly) in Washington, DC.

Four days before the wedding, when our daughter and her dress arrived in town, we turned to Stacey's in a panic. They could tell immediately what had been done incorrectly on the dress and were kind and understanding about squeezing the alterations in on short notice. They re-did the cups in the bodice, which involved a fair amount of work, after careful measurement.

My daughter and I truly appreciated the care and concern the seamstress put into helping make the dress look perfect. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back!

Very sad daughter! My daughter was so excited to have a princess party at Stacy's.

Called 2 weeks ago and told them I was looking for a January date for her party. The lady on the phone told me they weren't taking dates into January yet. I left message for owner to call me back, she never did. They also mentioned to call back first week in November for a January date.

So today (1st week in Nov) I called and they said they are booked through April! What?!?! So I requested a call from the owner. Owner called me back and had an excuse about some other room being built and that fell through.

She apologized but I was so mad by then it didn't matter. You shouldn't tell your customers to call back knowing the main room was already booked.

Bad experience... Also missed out on booking at another place we had in mind due to this ☹️

Gee I was considering having a glamor birthday party for my 13 year old daughter but after reading all the reviews it really scars me to think it could be a bad experience. I have a special needs daughter and I would want her to have the best time and feel like her birthday party was just as awesome as other girls parties.

From the reviews it seems like its just the luck of the draw if you get god customer service. Or that some of the other positive reviews might be seeded reviews.

The fact that there are more negative reviews (found on another review site) It makes me want to maybe pass this opportunity by. We will go in and check out their birthday facilities and make our decision from that interaction.

This place is a disaster! The external grandeur appearance is as good as it gets. From the time you enter the front door it is downhill from there. Very dirty facility! Appearance aside, the owner is the most unprofessional owner of any business I have ever encountered, and the owner never accepts any responsibility.

We started our wedding dress search well in advance to ensure delivery. Bride’s maid’s dresses were ordered and delivered. Although, two of the four were the wrong dress and she implied it was our responsibility to check the dresses for error. I found this amazing as it was my impression when an owner makes a special order for you, I would have thought it would have been the company to insure proper delivery of the ordered product. Not at Stacey’s! It is the consumer’s issue! No accountability for error.

The tuxes arrived and two did not fit and the father of the brides vest was never ordered. Once again she informed us we needed to check this on Friday prior to the wedding. I had to inform her, it was Friday while we exchanged a few words. She once agin implied it was our fault the tuxes did not fit properly and items missing were not on the order. I requested our file and pointed out to her on her records where missing items were on the order sheet. Once again, no accountability for her error.

She furthermore requested we come back on the day of the wedding to pick up new tuxes and missing items. This was ridiculous! After several words were exchanged she finally decided this was their error and she would deliver the needed tuxes and vests on the day of the wedding. Once again, another issue. She delivered the items to the wrong hotel! Fortunately we knew the individual at the front desk of the other hotel and they called us asking about the tuxes. We had to go get them and hope they fit as delivery was in the afternoon for an afternoon wedding.

As far as her professionalism, she consistently reprimanded her staff in front of customers over silly items. If these items were important to her, you would think she would have staff meetings. This may be a reach for this business as it is apparent she has no clue how to operate a professional business.

If it were not for the delightful staff assisting and trying not to act embarrassed from her unprofessional behavior, I would have cancelled every order, and went to another local wedding place. I wished now we had!

Don’t get duped into this business by the fancy building! Non profession and one of the worst places in town to do business.

Discrimination of a child WORST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN

My one year old daughter and I went into Staceys to help my mom find a formal dress for theZagazig Shrines Potentates ball.As we were takin to the dress part i asked the store associate if they had a changing table in their restroom as i needed to change my babys diaper because we had a long drive to gt there she said no thy ddnt,walked my mom back to find a dress i styed up by the fitting rooms and asked another girl if i could change my daughter on the floor there she said that was fine so as i was changing her WET diaper Stacey the owner came out and yelled from across the store "do you have a mat under her?" I said no she said "well you shouldnt be changing her there we bring out thousands of dollar dresses thete i said shes just wet its not a big deal. She said"yes it is that is not a bathroom"i said it would help if you had a changing table in your restroom she stated that chilren are not usually INVITED into her store!!!!

I was pissed i told her she was discriminating and treating me like trash because i changed my daughter on the floor of her store i got my mom and left!!!

She was just rude disrectful and discriminatory. WORST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN

You could have changed her in the car. Also, I don't know what in heavens name people did to change their kids before any stores had changing tables in the rest rooms. I would be willing to bet the kids got changed in the car.

DO NOT PURCHASE A DRESS FROM STACY'S BRIDAL IN DES MOINES! They screwed my sister over so bad.

She purchase a wedding dress and a week later, she called to come in and try it on again and they told her that they messed up and it's discontinued so unless she wants the dress on the rack she'll have to find a new dress. She was very upset, but did find a new dress, however, this dress was also discontinued. It just so happened though that the dress on the rack fit her very well, however, there were some things wrong with it. The gal that had been helping her said that because of the first mistake she made, she would place cups in the dress, fix the threads and do some other touch ups for free, but stated that my sister shouldn't say anything because the owner shouldn't find out.

The associate said it would take 2 weeks to do all of this work. After 2 months, my sister demanded the dress and the only thing done was the breast cups. My sister stated that she wanted to take the dress and bring it back before the wedding to have everything else done. She didn't trust the dress stay there for the next 8 months.

The associate agreed and said to bring it back 1 month before the wedding. My sister tried the dress on this last weekend and the bra cups were not even and then all of a sudden, one of them popped out. She went into Stacy's with the dress and spoke with Stacy, the owner. Stacy wouldn't not listen to my sister at all and said she didn't care what she was promised by one of her employees.

She said that when you take the dress out of the store, they are done. Stacy was very rude and yelling at my sister in the middle of the store and not even listening. What kind of customer service is that.

She is rude and doesn't care about the customer, the only thing she cares about is her and not taking blame for anything and doesn't make anything right.

I totally agree with you! We went to Stacey's for my sisters prom dress.

The staff was rude and our consultant never helped us! I stepped in as my sister's consultant. I found the dress and as soon as the staff saw that she had it on for awhile, they started decking her out in jewelry, as if they had been there the whole time! That's just the half of it!

They were rude whenever we asked about the dress, or emailed to find out about it. Stacey, was a ***. Her business isn't going to last long.

I hope it goes out of business because they're so rude there! That'll teach them!
