Saint Vincent de Paul awful manager
I have donated many times to the Pocatello Saint Vincent de Paul thrift store, and sometimes buy things there, as well. I wanted to return a $6 item.
Thought they would do store credit like other resale places do; I've never wanted to return anything there before, but an employee once told me that they take returns. Today I was yelled at by the "manager" and called a liar in front of other customers and another employee because of this. Over a $6 item! Unbelievable!
Then this so-called manager stormed off, leaving the other employee to take care of everything. I am still shocked by her reaction to such a simple request.

I would never dream of trying to take an item back to a thrift store. If it turned out to be something I decided I didn't want I would put it in a donate box or on a garage sale. I would also never pay $6.00 for an item at a thrift store unless it was something that had an extremely high original value.
