INSTALLED SIDING, REPLACED HAIL DAMAGED TRIM

St. Charles Exteriors has contacted me with an acceptable solution. At this point, I view this incident as an unfortunate miscommunication. The original work completed in 2004 exceeded expectations. This Company is now recommended. An update will be posted following the completion of the planned work. I am confident the repairs will be more than satisfactory, with better materials and workmanship than the original job. The fiberboard will be replaced with a vinyl product and painted. The vinyl product will be mush more durable and will have a more finished look compared to cement siding. This is a professional and experienced company.

St. Charles Exteriors completed the repairs.

They used aluminum to cover the fiberboard.

It looks great. This Company is now recommended.

St. Charles Exteriors installed cement siding in 2004 that delaminated. They claim it's the manufacturer's problem but it appears the problem is where the material is cut. Paint is peeling in large sheets. The company has said they will fix it for months with no results. The siding is literally falling to pieces. The Company claims the siding was installed properly. Their solution is to have the manufacturer - Certianteed - supply new material, which is unacceptable considering the number of complaints regarding their cement siding products. Please search for certainteed cement siding problems for additional information. Once again, this company does not stand behind their work.
