Your billing department sucks. Almost 2 months to get a payment put on right account .3 weeks to get hold of supervisor..just lucky got one on phone today..STAR, still no HELP all you ever hear is were backed up and we cant help you..CURSING NOT allowed according to them because every time I try to explain my payment plan was not because it was 40 instead 50 dollars and your customer service supervisor Perry set it up but I was wrong about it because that can't happen it's not your guide lines.i I hope I never have to deal with them again..I'M ONE PISSED OFF CUSTOMER FOR HAVING TO deal with a inadequate billing department..but u caught your money paid in full TODAY.. LAST PAYMENT PLAN WAS WRONG FOR MAKING EXTRA PAYMENTS, AND THEY FIGURE THAT OUT EITHER WITH YOUR BILLING SYSTEM..SO I WILL TRY TO pay as go for doctors emergency room and hopefully they will except payments from me...BEN...

VERY UNHAPPY!!!! Cannot access any medical records/test results and it has been 3 weeks!!!

Cannot access records/test results/not concerned about the financial end, but it is ridiculous that other info is not posted to MyChart- what hood is it?

Non responsive Cardiology office staff to an urgent request.

I needed to obtain an urgent approval from my Cardiologist to another surgeon for a minor surgery that was going to ease me from some significant pain. Although the cardiologist is excellent, his office staff is severely lacking in customer service skills. My request to their office provided the surgery date which was occurring in 5 business days. I attempted to find out if the staff could turnaround that request expeditiously. The frontline customer service rep (Monique) who I needed to engage with was discounting and condescending and informed me that their office could not provide me an ETA other than that the physician had 10-15 days to respond according to SSM policy. Monique would not allow me to talk to a nurse and had no concern that I would likely need to reschedule my surgery and thus extend my time in dealing with the pain. She did not care, she provided automaton-like responses. I had to move out my surgery and hope they respond in time to my next scheduled surgery--moved one week later. I am moving to a new cardiologist and staff who place patient health first over office paper pushing policy. This is "health care?"

Still nor response from the cardiology office.Great doctor, terrible office management.Go somewhere else like BJC.

I received a notification from a collection agency for a bill that apparently was unpaid. In 17 years of being a patient of SSM I have never had an unpaid bill. The reason Im so angry about it is because I got no email or even phone call about it! They could have notified me!

I have been a patient of SSM for 17 years. Not once have I missed paying a bill. Yesterday I received a collections notice for a bill apparently not paid. I had just paid a bill that was more than that one so it makes no sense that I would pay one and not the other! Furthermore not once did they attempt to reach out to ask me about it. As a faithful patient I was shocked and upset. I was also very disappointed in the way they handled it!

Stalking and Invasion of Privacy

Between Mar 2016-Jan 2018 Carol Ewing-Woods, RN at Depaul Hospital 12303 Depaul Dr, Bridgeton MO (ssm health) has electronically stalked her younger sisters Medical Record. Complaints have been filed at SSM Health Corporate, but the criminal activity continues. This is All going on behind the sisters back, Carol has NEVER been given written Authorization. HIPAA complaints have been filed, but the Federal Government refuses to do their jobs. The two haven't spoken in years and the younger sister could care less what Carol Ewing or Depaul Hospital thinks. Taxpayers and patients need to know what really goes on at Depaul Hospital. Apparently, everytime she's caught she has a temporary "emotional breakdown", how psychotic. Incidentally, the younger sister has NEVER been a patient at Depaul, so Carol is electronically stalking her. Again, she's NEVER been given written Authorization. HIPAA refuses to do their job!!
