SRT Recovery and Towing

On July 14, AAA dispatched Roadside Towing & Recovery North LLC (Ocala, FL) to tow my motorcycle for repair. The driver parked his tow truck on my all-concrete driveway while loading my bike, then stopped again at the top of my driveway before leaving.

Shortly afterward, I discovered large, fresh oil stains exactly where the truck had been parked. I immediately photographed the damage and reported it to AAA.

The towing company contacted me via text never a phone call asking for photos. As soon as I sent them, they claimed the stains were old and accused me of lying. What they didnt know is that I have multiple security cameras.

I provided them with time- and date-stamped video footage clearly showing:

The driveway before their truck arrived clean, no stains.

The truck in the exact position during the loading process.

The driveway immediately after they left now with massive fresh stains.

Instead of apologizing, they tried to backpedal, saying thats not what we meant when accusing me of lying. They promised to send someone to inspect the damage. The first appointment was canceled due to rain (their requirement for a dry driveway), but no one showed up for the rescheduled visit and my texts were ignored.

After multiple follow-ups with AAA, Mr. Diaz texted me saying hed arrive July 31 at 4:30 pm.

At 4 pm, I confirmed by text, and he said hed be there but again, no-show. Eventually, the original tow truck driver came out (weeks later) to take photos, confirming there were no other leaks on the property. Still, on August 8, AAA informed me the company had officially refused to take responsibility, once again calling the stains old even with clear video proof.

This companys behavior is unethical and cowardly. My husband and I are both military veterans, and by calling us liars in the face of irrefutable evidence, they not only shirked their responsibility but dishonored two people who served this country.

That is not just bad business its a disgrace.

Not one manager or decision-maker has ever come to see the damage or speak to me directly. All communication has been through sporadic, dismissive text messages. This is the type of company that would damage your vehicle during transport and then claim it was already damaged when they picked it up.

The oil stains span my 150-foot driveway, with the heaviest damage exactly where their truck sat. If they refuse to clean up visible, documented damage on concrete, imagine how they would handle more serious, costly damage to your property or vehicle.

Bottom line: Roadside Towing & Recovery North LLC is dishonest, unprofessional, and operates without integrity.

They disrespect customers, ignore evidence, and in my case, insulted two military veterans who simply expected accountability. I strongly warn anyone especially fellow veterans to avoid this company at all costs.
