Spyder Active Sports - Abruptly took loyalty points away

Long-time member as well as my friends and family. They sold the company and sent an email on Feb 5th stating ahead till the 16th to use loyalty points.

I did not see the email. Spyder has our phone numbers and could have sent a text. I had a lot of loyalty points.

Contacting customer care, I talked to Jose and Miguel.

Both told me that there is no middle ground. The points are gone.

I stated that the loyalty program username I used was still active. The points should have never been erased.

I understand not offering the ability to earn points. The points that I acquired under the loyalty program should have been kept and honored by Spyder.

Hope you don't have to return anything; it's a nightmare. Everything with Spyder's customer care is an uphill battle.

I spent thousands of dollars at Spyder and saved my points to use them this season to get very expensive leather jackets for my twin boys, which now I cannot afford. They offered nothing but a hollow sorry.

Preferred solution: Compensation for all the points that I lost that should’ve never been taken away.

I shop different stores at different time depending where I’ll be snowboarding. Being an active snowboarder as well as my whole family.

I have winter wear for different regions n degrees of weather. Burton wouid never treat a customer like that and they would never talk to a customer like you are now. Spyder is going downhill.

I get the kids spyder gear because they grow out of it. As for me n my 2 older sons it’s Burton they are a truly a superior brand.

Over the past few years, I have purchased over 14 ski. Parkas.

I directly ordered from their website. I returned only one for fit. Recently, I have one of my favorite parkas completely keep getting holes in the parka after gently washing it. I have spent over forty dollars having my tailor sew with thread the defects.

They Spyder have very crude policy of giving credit Their customer service lied to. Me about their phone no. Their warranty dept. REFUSED TO call me back.

Their life time return policy is completely untrue. As an attorney and a very good customer, I admonish anyone considering purchasing a parka from them to read my review.
