Warning to the bereaved about Sprung Monuments

I was referred to Spring Monument in Lindenhurst by Plaza Jewish Memorial. I spoke with Harvey Consor to whom O provided all information about my mothers name and location of her burial site. Harvey told me he would visit my mothers gravesite and send me detailed information about selection of. Stone etc. Harvey never called me and did not return my calls. I left two messages with the receptionist and Harvey did not have the decency to return my call to say he forgot, lost paperwork, was too busy etc. Its emotionally painful to have your mother die and then have to deal with thinking about a memorial. As a psychologist I am writing this review to help others avoid the insensitive treatment I received with Sprung Monument in Lindenhurst.

Agent was fast enough to meet me at the cemetery to get my business. I called Adam Sprung 2X, one of the owners of Sprung Monuments, because I had a complaint about their agent. After getting the proposal I called them back to ask a few questions he was very rude and abrupt. *** me thought that the owner should know this. I called left 2 messages for Adam to call me back. His assistant assured me that he will call me back. I have not heard from him. So if you have no questions and don't care about customer care than this is the company for you

Sprung has high prices, doesn't back up their 100% guarantee, and keeps your money.

After giving Sprung Monument my deposit, and before actually ordering gravestone, I found a local company that was cheaper and that guaranteed an equally good product without added charges. Sprung Monument refused to return my significant deposit. Sprung claims "100% guarantee" but didn't follow through. They kept 100% of my deposit after I told them I found someone better. Even though I lost my deposit with Sprung, I still went with the cheaper monument company. They were so much cheaper than Sprung I hardly lost anything. And I got to work with a monument company who was much nicer than Sprung, harder working than Sprung (went to the cemetery to make sure it would match existing gravestones), and delivered a high quality product. Sprung turned out to be a big-name rip-off. Thoroughly check your alternatives before committing to Sprung. After you check other monument companies, it's likely you'll find another monument company that's cheaper than Sprung, more trustworthy than Sprung, and equally good.

Who did you end up using. We are involved with Sprung and are getting the runaround.

Please help! I'd love to bring my business where you did.

Sprung Monuments NJ Despicable method of building customers

Spring Monuments 402 Park Street Hackensack New Jersey 07601 preys on the public for business. They have people working for them soliciting business by finding obituaries in the local paper. Then by doing a search on the Internet they find relatives names and address. Then they send correspondence to that person or persons found with the search. Their information accuracy is only speculative. People receive a condolence and a pitch for services from Spring Monuments. This type of correspondence is disturbing especially if you have NOT lost a loved one. How can they target people with false information of that nature? This is Despicable Practice and should not continue.

All monument companies do that. They are mearly offering their services to a consumer who may not otherwise know where to purchase a once in a lifetime item.
