I'm getting a full refund but I wasn't looking for a refund. I just wanted retainers that actually fit.

I'm very disappointed with this place. They acted like it was too much to try to work with me. I sent in 2 set of impressions, upper and lower, they emailed me back a few days later and said they were not good and would not be able to make a retainer from them. Well, apparently they went ahead and made retainers from those impressions and shipped them to me. Received the first set and they did not fit. The top one was lopsided and did not line up with my teeth at all. The bottom one would not go over my teeth at all. I contacted customer service, sent pictures and they said that since they were still under warranty they would remake them and do some adjustments. A week later, I received the second set of retainers. The top one fit good except that it was cut way too short. The bottom one still did not fit and would not go on. I contacted customer service again, sent pictures of how they fit and told them that the second ones still don't fit and asked them if I could just take new impressions. They told me that, that would be my second warranty and that they tried 2 set of impressions already and could not help me anymore. That I would have to see a dentist or orthodontist because I must have teeth that need special attention. They should have let me take new impressions because the ones they have are not going to work. They even told me that weren't good impressions. I'm getting a refund. I guess I'll go somewhere else. Thanks for nothing.

Terrible customer service!

Ordered full retainer kit from Sporting Smiles. After several months, the top retainer cracked. Called Evan for a replacement, and paid for a new retainer set to be sent out, with an extended warranty of 6 months instead of 1 month. When the retainer arrived, the bottom unit did not fit. It was obvious that the unit was made poorly. We called Evan, and asked for the unit to be remade. This request was neglected for weeks. We kept following up, but Evan refused our calls. He insisted that his company did nothing wrong. Finally he told us that he would give us a refund. We weren't looking for a refund,we just wanted a fitting retainer! He told us that he did not want to work with us, (He actually said, "I want to be done with you guys!", would not warranty any products for us, not even honor the 30 day warranty that is stated on his website. We had to call several more times to get our full credit issued back to us. DO NOT ORDER FROM HIS COMPANY! A company's customer service is judged when things go wrong. Everything is great as long as everything is great. I have NEVER had such an experience with any company in my life. Go elsewhere!

Don't do it!!

Wore these for only a few months and they cracked. Never had this happen in the many years that I have been using retainers from my dentist. Customer service said no warranty, and that I should reorder new ones. I didn't realize that they were disposable only after a few months! Frustrating and lengthy mold process (they approved the emailed photo, but then rejected the mold when I sent them in and tried to charge me again), and very poor durability eliminates the value proposition for these retainers. Do yourself a favor and stick with the ones you get from the "pros"! These are definitely NOT worth the money and aggravation!!
