Cheap misleading headline
- The headline claimed Devers requested a trade.
- The text does not state a trade; it only notes a possibility.
- The user says it's a cheap trick.
Just read a story whose headline state Rafael Devers requesting a trade. Nowhere in the text dies it say that.
It merely states that he could request a trade. JUST a cheap trick to get people to read.
WON'T FOOL ME AGAIN. I'm done opening any stories from TSN

Verified ReviewerTrying to contact them
- Sporting News NBA articles feel uninformed.
- I prefer watching games and intangibles over analytics.
- Former daily reporter offering to help.
I criticized their editorial judgment and writing competence concerning their coverage of the NBA.. It remains to be seen if they begin to improve.
I read many of the NBA articles online from Sporting News. They aren't very good.
They often are not well informed. Also, I see a lot of clickbait headlines. I'm an astute, long-time NBA fan who knows the players and the game. No, I'm not big on analytics.
I watch the games; I played in my younger days and know that there are intangibles that stats miss.
I also was a news reporter and feature writer for dailies in my younger days. You could use the help and I'm available.
- Comprehensive reporting
- Some poor writing by inexperienced reporters covering the nba

Verified ReviewerIntegrity of your sports writer's, specifically Andrew Hughes
- The writer alleges Hughes posts negative Alabama coverage on Sporting News.
- He edits Fly War Eagle, an Auburn fan site.
To: Rich Routman,
I'm aware that a Mr. Andrew Hughes is employed by your organization to write articles dealing with college football.
After receiving several media links to articles written by Andrew, I became acutely aware that the man undoubtedly has a real problem with The University of Alabama, judged by the negative content he attempts to circulate on a very regular basis using Sporting News as his platform.
I became very interested in Andrew Hughes after reviewing many of his recent articles, the majority of which were extremely negative about Alabama, Georgia, and Texas.
After doing a bit of research on Andrew Hughes, I found out that he's the editor of a website called 'Fly War Eagle,' an Auburn University fan site that exclusively supports the Auburn football program.
His pathetic attempts to attack and slander the programs in direct competition with his 'Auburn Tigers' are plainly evident.
The issue I have is why any reputable sports publication company like The Sporting News would allow a man like Andrew Hughes to spread his Auburn propaganda using your platform. This is beyond belief to me.
I suggest you read the content Mr. Hughes is spreading under the Sporting News banner and see if you believe that sort of content is what you want your company to be associated with.
Sincerely,
Gary Brackin
