No service, no worries, no way to conduct a business.

Tried to order a replacement part for a spa originally purchased from them. Couldn't get to talk to the person that "looked after that" so I left a message - three times for them to call. Eventually went there. (half hour drive) Ordered the item and was quoted a price. Told it would be in 1-2 days. After numerous calls and 10 days later told it was in. Went to pick it up (another 1/2 hour drive) and no one knew anything about it. Finally figured it out because I recognized the part. (much time wasted). Went to pay for it and the price was a lot more than quoted when ordered. Needless to say I told them to keep it and politely expressed my dissatisfaction. No apology, no comment, no anything. It seemed like the clerk was familiar with this reaction. Stay away unless you want grief for no reason. If you are studying how not to conduct business, this is the perfect place to check it out.

Splashworks London - Incredibly horrible customer service!!

Splashworks International Pool and Spa is the dealer for Coast Spa's in the London area and I required some repair work on my Coast Spa. I contacted Splashworks 5 weeks ago and they have managed to have a technician show up for only 1 of 4 scheduled appointments. They did not call or follow up to advise no one would be coming and when I called each week following the missed service call I was treated with disrespect and total disregard for customer service. I finally reached my tolerance threshold after taking the day off work to stay home and be present for the fourth and last promised visit by Splashworks. By 2:15 pm when I had not heard from anyone I called to inquire as to what time I could expect them. I was put on hold and finally told that they would not be coming.......yet again. I expressed my frustration on the phone and via email at the lack of respect they have for me as a customers and my time. I do not feel it is unreasonable to expect them to call and inform me they would not be able to arrive that day and reschedule the appointment. The response I received back from Bill Shewfelt at Splashworks was both inexcusibly rude and disrespectful. I cannot believe they manage to stay in business treating the hand that feeds them in this manner. The conversation ended with him telling me I had 30 seconds to provide him with my credit card number if I wanted service from his company. I told him I would get service elsewhere from a respectable and reputable business. It is not hard to believe that 17 of the 23 complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau for product and service related issues. I would never recommend this company to anyone and am absolutely shocked they remain in business.
