Price

I never visited, but was planning to on November 11th, 2023. I will not pay $65.00 admission to get into a water park!!! I just visited Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and paid $37.99!! Come on now!! Don't you think your price is a bit steep!!

PISSED Is An Understatement! We traveled from Buffalo New York to Erie Pennsylvania to spend a night & two days at splash Lagoon waterpark. We arrived at 2 o'clock unpacked all of our bags (7 adults and 4 kids) only to be told that we could not check in until 4 o'clock. We had to put all of our bags back in the car and decided to go to the attached restaurant to wait it out. There was no point in taking the kids into the bathroom and putting their swimsuits on just to have to go back out to the car to get the bags again in two hours. After finally checking in at 4 o'clock we got our suits on and headed down to the waterpark. Besides my mother-in-law scraping her knee on one of the kiddie slides while taking one of the grandkids down with her we had a good time. The huge problems started later when we returned to the restaurant for a late dinner. We were not informed that the waterpark , which was smack dab in the middle of the hotel and the restaurant , would be closing at 9 o'clock and completely shut down and locked up by 10. When we were done eating at the restaurant we tried to go back through the water park to get to the hotel but couldn't. It was mid January in the middle of a snowstorm and we were expected to walk outside with the kids having no coats on to get back to our hotel!!! The waitress informed us that there was a shuttle that could come and pick us up. Although we were already extremely mad that this had happened we figured that was probably our only solution besides dragging the kids out into the snow. We ended up having to wait 20 minutes for a freezing cold shuttle with the driver that didn't seem to really know how to drive in the snow to come and pick us up to take us back to our hotel. Upon arriving I let the people at the front desk know and I was very upset and disappointed that no one told us that the waterpark would be closed and we wouldn't be able to get back through after a certain time. They seemed very uninterested in my complaints and didn't really care. Bottom Line-fun waterpark but make sure you read the fine print.

Splash Lagoon Treasure Island Arcade Review from Erie, Pennsylvania

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The waterpark is a mess they said they closed for a few weeks to make improvements to the place. Its hard to see where they did. The arcade my 10 year old son loves games we went to the arcade and i was very disappointed. Half the ganes were not working, the staff to the arcade was not friendly at all. I do remember seeing one girl there with long blonde hair possibly a supervisor? She seemed ok but more annoyed than anything. The choices for prizes was horrible. Lunch we bought food there that was a joke. The prices were outrageous over priced. My overall experience with the waterpark was horrible.i will not be back.

Poor maintenance

Been told by numerous people that this place is a lot of fun so I wanted to check it out myself so one day I took my 11 year old daughter to have some fun. It wasn`t that bad but it could have been better if the water toys like guns a.s.o. would work or even work properly. Also noticed that the rest of the maintenance was very poor. A lot of the waterfalls did not work, the wood on the tower is rotting away, the wave pool could use a new paint job and the showers in the woman`s room are in poor condition too no pressure or hardly any water. I assumed that a high value (meaning money) place like this would be kept up better than it is. Not sure if I`ll return. I am not pissed just disappointed.

Bait nad Switch

I have been to this park 4 times only because I have children that want to go. A 4 and 7 year old. They are excited to go and after the first night of 3 hours the next day they want to go home. I have had hotel room problems all but one year. Reserve a one bedroom and get a room with no separate bedroom. There are 7 balls for the pool with basketball hoops. Not all the hoops are being used but all the balls are. A top floor railing that is broken and some one will fall. Repaired water items that add kids enjoyment are repaired so water comes out but not repaired for its original use. Fixing a valve would be costly. Food that is easily the lowest grade offered by the food distributor. I know I own a bar and grill. Hand dries that do not blow hot air. I will be driving the extra 2 hours and go to the indoor Ohio water park from now on.

Splash lagoon - horrible

To breifly put this I waited 45 min to buy tickets since old couple was tying up line n worker did not call for help. Then had every life guard in every area blowing whistles at my kids expecting them to know what was wrong without using words. My bf got his cash stolen from wallet. Gift store would not return my t shirt I bought w out register slip that was stolen w my bf cash. Leaving us totally broke to get home after spending 137$ to get in park for 2 hours before they closed, which really was 1 hour w all the problems we had to deal with. Mang refused to help w any of our problems and corporate along with general mang has yet to call back 2 days later 2 emails n 4 calls later. Horrible service to the T!!

They provide lockers for your valuables. I'm not trying to minimize your problem, but others shouldn't look at this as the water parks issue. Always lock up your valuables.

Splash Lagoon, Erie, PA-booked for 3 days!

I traveled to Erie, PA, got a hotel Friday night and attempted to take my 3 kids to Splash Lagoon on Saturday. I was informed that they were booked Saturday, Sunday & Monday! Why did I bother to travel to Erie when my kids can't even swim? Splash Lagoon has signs all along I-90 advertising how much fun it is to go to their indoor water park but when you get there, they turn you away saying they are booked. What's up with that? I lived in Florida for years and was never turned away from a water park. Traveling to Erie, PA was a complete waste of time!

I used to be in work here and I've seen first hand the *** that went on. They got into trouble with the water co and chem checks that someone had to come everyday to check the chemicals in all the pools because they weren't ever right.

People got sick all the time and so did guest. Theres a supervisor there with the name of Apirl who trys to talk to any guy she can and even gets married guys phone numbers. I even saw her throw papers cross the office once!!! The life guards aren't trained well and can't even rememeber there skills.

Once there was someone that was having a hard time swimming and the lifeguard didnt even do anything because she didnt want to get her hair wet. I could write books about how *** this place is and how the BS around.

They hire over 50 new people every month because how under stuff treats others and what they really make do you behind the walls... DONT GO HERE take the extra hour and go over to ohio!

I work at Splash Lagoon as a party pro and I can tell you first hand that it is very clean. You have to understand that it's an indoor water park and it's really busy because um, hello?

we live in ERIE, it's cold 364 days out of the year! I love my job and my employer and I wouldn't bad mouth such a great place.

mhm.

basketballs as hard as rocks! WTF!

This indoor water park was disgusting! You will be so disappointed!

The park is build underground. It is unsanitary and they use recycled water that seems to have no chlorine. The park was over crowed. The rest room had Nat's.

The water was slimy. The staff was unpleasant. I'm still trying to figure out how there are bathrooms, food and water play all in the same stuffy area. The slides are unsafe and the lifeguards were not on point.

I watched a 6 or 7 year old boy go down a slide cracked his head on a wall dripping blood in the water and they didn't even shout the slide down to clean the water.

I'm a caring mother that has visited several amusements attractions over the years but have never seen any thing like the Splash Lagoon. This place is overrated and will not be what you expected.

Believe it or not, we managed to get in on the first day, but still it SUCKED because there were HUGE lines :( , {even for the midget kids hot tub}, when i got near the basketball hoops I often got smacked in the head with basketballs as hard as rocks :cry , and anywhere i went, i would get squirted with one of those RETARDED big sqiurts :(

everytime I go to book a trip to Splash Lagoon, they say it is booked for weeks in advance. BUT when I finally do get a room and go, there is like no one there.

WTF!! If the rooms are sooo in demand, then WHY don't they allow you to cancel your reservation? Obviously there are millions of people willing to grab up an open room! They never have rooms because they don't allow cancellation.

***!!!

ALSO the last time I was there, there was some evil employee folowing me around like I was a shoplifter! I couldn't even relax! This dude acted like I just tried to sneak an assault rifle into the building.

JEEZ! Let people enjoy themself!

I wasn't breaking ANY rules! UGH!

I can't have fun there.

When I called to book this past weekend, Splash Lagoon told me they were sold out - so we picked another day to visit instead of taking the chance on getting day passes - they don't guarantee them unless you book a package. We LOVE Splash Lagoon - we just waited too long to book this time!
