Because we had a stain from a leak on the Kitchen ceiling we looked into fixing it along with the bathroom above where the leak was from. We hired Brandon Spires of Spires Flooring and Remodeling, Lexington SC, who claimed he prides himself on his tile work ands stands behind his work and word.

Neighbors had hired him and another neighbor had referred him to them. Nothing can be further from the truth. Our bathroom took what seemed forever to get done and it was left in a mess, shoe mold is still lying in our garage not installed. Tiles were crooked, thick & uneven grout & marble all over the place, bunched tiles because they were not laid properly & taken time to dry in-between applications and just laid wrong according to the tile store whom I shared my photos with.

Grout in 2 tones as it was mixed wrong. He charge top dollar and did a part time lousy job. He said he'd stand by his work but that was a LIE. I would call him a *** man to be honest.

LLR said he has no license and could only do work in the amount up to $300. I filed a complaint with the Labor and Licensing Board to hopefully stop him to do to others what he had done to us and others. My daughter is sick since 10 years now and bedridden so I have a lot on my plate and put trust where I shouldn't have. I like to warn other people about this man who does not care about you or his work.

Her is not a good man let's leave it at that. Beware if you hear the name BRANDON SPIRES. Save yourself time, money and headaches later. I have a lot of photos to back up the lousy work he did if anyone is interested to see them The Tile Shop uses them for training on "how not to do tile work" He literally runs to find more work while his cousin and co-worker do the work.

He was proud to land a job with "Big Money" in Batesburg while finishing up our bathroom below satisfaction. Please do not trust him. To us he is a *** man and always needs money. When we hired a new licensed professional he tore the old bathroom out and found that the shower seat had mold under it.

Brandon should not be allowed to do this kind of work.

Soon our new bathroom will be finished and not full of flaws like the one Brandon Spires installed. Lesson We learned no matter what always check if the service provider is licensed and insured no matter who refers them to you.
