I had private cosmetic surgery with the spire manchester hospital the surgeon was Dr James Murphy. The surgery was a disaster his work was nothing short of amateur.
I have since met 4 other women online who have all had different cosmetic operations but the exact same experience at the spire manchester with the same surgeon. I got a refund and some of the other ladies are going though the process. When i first complained i was told other patients of his had been refunded! Sadly the money doesn't even begin to correct what he has done.
When all of us have complained he has said to all of us "it's all in our head"!!!! Which we have found so alarming now we know it's his default response everytime someone questions his skills. We have raised our concerns about how he is conducting himself and the very poor quality of his work. The spire are not interested and have just tried to fob us off.
I have also contacted the gmc who are very intimdating and unhelpful and seem to be very defensive of surgeons! We are desperate for other people not to go through what we have.
