I was on the waitlist in wall nj and the message they sent me was to treat this as a booked session I went to show up 17 min drive and they told me to go away This is very misleading and unprofessional

I have reached out to corporate numerous times with no response. They avoid customers with real concerns, and let their management treat their customers horribly and do nothing about it.

DO NOT EVER GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE, because if you ever have a problem. GOOD LUCK. I have been not only belittled but they have the audacity to turn it around on you and make you feel like youre some kind of idiot and its your fault? Especially when they dont know anything about you.

All they care about is a signature and money. I will take this to my lawyer this information over to my lawyer this week and Ill gladly take this to court before I let this company take advantage of another person like this ever again. I promise that. I am a single mother trying to raise a child on my own.

This manager didnt even take two seconds to find out why I was asking for help or why I may have been struggling. Instead he was rude, he belittled me, he talked to me like I was just stupid. Did he even know that I just found out their 4 year old sons uncle on his dads side was abusing him? I also just got over Covid so even before that I couldnt come in for over a month.

I had a medical reason and Julian the General Manager my first run in with him on the phone was first reason I never wanted to come back in the first place. He made me feel so uncomfortable. Two weeks I had Covid Im sick and hes pressuring me to come back already? Then again I cant come back because Im not testing positive but I have this horrible lingering cough and medically the doctor said not to work out.

You know what the general manager said to me? OH YOU JUST NEED TO SWEAT IT OUT!!! Are you kidding me? No, stop pressuring me youre not a doctor I cant breath that is not the second time Im I uncomfortable.

So now I just want to cancel Im dealing with this massive issue with my son! And I have to write this review so someone will hear me! Because I have reached out to corporate 5 times and no one will contact me! The fact that I have to put my personal information out there is pathetic because a company wont acknowledge a customer and instead chooses to ignore them.

Again all you care about is ink and money. I care about my childs safety and my health. CLEARLY SPENGA DOESNT SUPPORT CHILD SAFETY , WOMENS HEALTH, OR SINGLE MOMS. I am glad to let the world know this.

I thought this was a good company. Its not. Ive been trying to reach someone on corporate for weeks now. And now Im way back my last billing cycle so your company is going to try and charge me 2 whole months again even though it says on your website you reach out to customers within a timely manner.

But here we are Ive reached out FIVE TIMES. Spenga doesn't support women, and this needs to be known.

I will be in contact with multiple womens social media platforms. This needs to be heard, and Julian needs to be fired.

Ridiculous overcharging

My daughter had signed up for a plan at Spenga in Ann Arbor while a student at U of Michigan. In May she contacted them to tell them she was graduating and needed to terminate her membership. When they asked if she could come in to sign papers, she told them it would be difficult. They just said ok, and she assumed her membership would be terminated. Instead, they kept charging our credit card on the 11th of each month. In June, upon noticing a charge again, she called and was told they had to have signed forms. They could have easily told her in the first place that she would keep getting charged if papers were not signed when she called the first time. Of course the manager denies this and insists they would have told her. They did not! So the forms were emailed, and my daughter filled them out and immediately emailed them back. These were received on June 12th, so the company went ahead and charged us again! We were told the manager would call to discuss a refund, but didn't until I called again. She was condescending and totally insensitive, and only offered to be sure there wouldn't be a charge in July and August. Are you kidding? This is a business in a college town, and this is how you treat people? We are aware of their 30 day notification policy, but there was obviously a communication problem here, and yet there was absolutely no understanding or flexibility from Spenga. I have reached out to their corporate office by email 3 times, and have never received any response! There is no phone number, only email, which is a red flag as far as I am concerned. I want a refund of the $69 for the 2 months my daughter did not receive services from them. She was no longer in Ann Arbor after May 6th.
