It is now a "moot" point. I successfully refinanced my mortgage .

The closing was this week. I am not sure if the late fee was included in the payoff figure or not. At any rate I'm glad NOT to have to deal with this bank anymore. I did make another call to their customer service department before the closing.

I was told AGAIN that the rep could NOT make the decision and I would have to wait another 2 or more days to find out if the charge would be removed.

I WAS NOT notified and I did not call the bank again. The customer service rep was very sweet and tried to help but could not.

I have not paid the late fee as yet. I'm hoping the situation will be resolved and the $69 will be removed from my account.

I made my mortgage payment on their computer line. I accidentally "told" the computer to take the payment from my savings account but gave the number for my checking account from which I always paid and meant to pay that time. No one called me to let me know of the error. I was automatically charge a $70 late fee..I have been asking to have it removed but because I had a late charge removed one other time I have been refused. The point is THE PAYMENT WAS NOT LATE.

Unhappy with customer service contact

Considering the crisis that many of your customers currently are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in lost of employment and the back log with unemployment payments, many are uncertain if and how they will meet their basic monthly needs. Specialized Loan Servicing representatives have shown no kind of sensitivity or concern about their customers. Upon contact, your representatives show no form of caring to even ask the customer if they are currently affected financially by the pandemic. Their only concern is to collect a debt which as a customer are not disputing. However, when the insensitive approach was addressed with the representative, his response was "your mortgage is due on the 1st of the month and Specialized allotted 16 day for payment which is adequate time. Considering this, the call was done on 5/6/20. Considering the current crisis, your representative should at least greet the customers by checking if there is any concerns/issues due to the current pandemic then seek an answer when payment will be made.

So, you expect a business to check on you, see how your family is doing, and do a mini counseling session? C'mon.

No one has time to do that. That's not their job, they are not your friend. You owe money, it is their job to communicate this fact to you while gathering facts to note your account. Those notes will not include how you're feeling today.

Get a friend or a dog if you need someone to talk to.

I sure wouldn't want to be waiting on hold while you get your counseling session. You have a way to peck out this stupid rant, use it to find people who will talk to you about your day.

SLS HAS RUINED OUR LIVES. IT SEEMS NOBODY CAN GET THEM OUT OF BUSINESS. WE ARE IN OUR 70TH AND OUR HOME THAT WAS BUILT AT $32000 HAS BEEN MODIFIED, CHANGED YEARS ADDED TO THE CONTRACT, ETC ETC AND THE LATEST AMOUNT OWED IS $185,000. THE LOAN WAS WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE EXTENDED TO 40 YRS. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT! AT 78 AGE, I WILL NEVER SEE OUR HOME PAID OFF. WHERE DO YOU GO FOR TRUE HELP! PLEASE TELL ME.

Someone has been calling me since I have been a customer with sls. I did not ask to be but Bank of America turn my account over to you. Since I been with you someone has been calling my house on Saturdays and Sundays and Friday morning before nine I will not tolerate this kind of harassment My house payment is not behind and I know I live here and I DO know I have a mortgage payment I would appreciate someone talking to their staff and let them know if I need any kind of help I will call. Bank of America was not this BAD

My mortgage has always been in good standing. Since SLS took over loan Ive been almost foreclosed on. Had this mortgage since 1996. These incompetent employees have no idea whats going on. I hate this company and cant wait to tell them to kiss my ***

I was behind on my mortgage with Wells Fargo (3 months), and when I called to bring it up to date they stated it was sold to SLS and I needed to contact them. I did and SLS refused to let me make any payments until "they reviewed the loan". When they finally got back to me they stated I owed them over $7,000, which of course I didn't have. So I got a lawyer to see if I could modify the loan in some way. They denied the modification due to my age (I"m 60 and still working full time). I can't afford to lose my house and they keep threatening foreclosure if I don't pay them.

Insurance claim check!

I was told we had supplied all docs. Check was approved. This was May 13th, via Madison, customer care rep. Never received! With memorial weekend, thought it was taking longer. Nope... check was never sent! What is going on? On to do list on dashboard Ive done everything! Now Im being told I cant speak to a supervisor. That needs to be requested! WTH! We have men working that need to be paid! It takes money! Ive put thousands on my credit card! SLS, mortgage company is holding everything up! I need to speak to anyone who can sort this out! I get different answers..or different notes theyve taken.. I spoke to Madison, the 13th..there should be notes! Now were waiting another Week! We have to get out of this apartment on the 15th!...Impossible! Very upset. The money has been there at your company for over a month! Release it! Call me! Text..anything! HORRIBLE COMPANY!

SLS recently bought my mtg from Wells Fargo, who has had it for 15yrs. SLS bought it on march 1st 2020- payment due date. I received a letter from Wells explaining the transfer and on march 13th I got a letter from SLS. I created my online account but could not make a payment that way. I called them- they did not have a loan number assigned to my account so I couldn't do anything. finally on march 20th - I called and had a loan number which I got from wells fargo and did a payment over the phone. got a confirmation code for it. It cleared my bank. NOW- SLS has returned my payment to me and is requesting PAYMENT IN FULL for the loan ! when I log into my account with SLS - it does not allow me to view my account, it says "not viewable", the ONLY link that is live on it is a link for "alternatives to foreclosure". I was NOT late on my payments, not even before the loan was transferred to them. NOW I am all of a sudden in foreclosure????? I was 20 days late on making my march 1 payment because I had no address no phone, no access to make online payments, not even a loan # until my old mtg company dug until they found one for me. this is the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL company ever! NOW when I try to call them, 4 different phone number and all with the same message.... overload of calls, call back in 72hours. I leave my call back number every single time and it has been 5 days since my first call to them, and no call back yet. ready to do something- a see a lawsuit in the making.

We got specialized mortgage Services in December 2018. Wellfargo sold I morg..to them. We been in *** every since. We do not owe them anything. and they still wont get. The account right. They r putting on the statement. april. Owe. And april not here. I just ask them to show it current. they kept getting I payments mix up. But now. We trying to get them together. but. if they not doing it. What can we do. It's been a hard road. I work and.. I'M so tired of the mix up. Can't sleep at. The worst servicing company on the planet. I have 12 loans with them for my LLC and they reported the debt under my personal credit report. They have acknowledged doing this in error, but it's taking months to get corrected and I am getting the run around. The worst part is every time you ask for a manager they are conveniently not available and they say you will get a call back in 24-48 hours and it never happens. I have been promised over 5 calls backs from SLS and not one has ever happened. If your account has been transferred to this company I wish you luck because they are AWFUL!
