Ive spoken with Mr. Cantu from the Office of the President at Spark Energy.
I will say this because i belive in giving credit where credit is due.. Mr. Cantu was very polite and even apologetic.
Over the phone and in email, he was very amicable and professional, treated me very well and felt a little better after we spoke. That being said, i wasnt given a reason why our cancellations werent honored and even though he said he placed a cancellation again for us, it was to take 2 more billings before it took place.

I think i will start with a warning-if someone comes to your front door or calls you from Spark Energy promising you savings if you sign up with them (next they ask to see one of your more recent utility bills-do not show it to them-you dont have to take my word for it tho-there are tons and tons of complaints against Spark Energy to choose from). Do not believe a word they say-they are straight up liars and they are out to rip you off just like tgey have lots and lots of hard working people. I read somewhere else they tend to target the elderly (pathetic). Anyhow, our bills are ridiculously high. My mother has tried to cancel her service wirh them at least 2 to 3 times. Each time they told her it would be cancelled only to no not be billed by them again. I believe they are incahoots with PG&E on this. Billing is confusing and you dial PG&E and they cant help you. You have to call Spark. Yet they bill together...After she cancelled services from them at least twice, they lied to her and did not cancel service. After speaking with someone from the Office of the President, a very nice gentlemen at that, i was told records for only one cancellation were found and I was told they werent able to give me a reason why service was not cancelled but that fault was not on my mothers side. I was told a new cancellation order was placed and billing would start showing as of April 2016. , It was March. After calling PG&E and asking for copies of old bills, i came to realize that Apeil 2016 would be one year since Spark Energy had been ripping off my mother. I researched more and more, found tons of complaints and thats how I remembered the young woman who came to our front door asking to see one if oyr more recent urility bills (she began telling us how much money my mother could save by signing with them. She said she woukd make the call and coached us on what to respond to the person on the phone who was going to ask a couple of questions (standard procedure).Anyhow, after sometime the bills got higher and higher...too much...thats when my mothet called to cancel (the first time anyway). ,The rep said "no problem". ,Lie. They didnt cancel it. Bills still came too high and my morhet was told she had to pay the bill in order to cancel it for the following month. She paid. No change,no cancellarion, yet again. In the end. She cancelled again. Still no change in the bill. It is now end if April, May is about to start and Spark Energy is still billing us.These people are straiight up liars and scammers. It is hard to believe PG&E is not in on it as well.I think this company should be sued and made to stop scamming hard working people. Im tired of their lies and scamming. Do yourselves a favor and dont answer the door to them or kindly refuse their false claims. Yoy will not save money, you will lose money.
