I am irate these guys don't conduct business in a professional manner. Something about it.
Their tone is sketchy. They hung up on me twice. 2 different people completely rude.
Questioning the customer being smart is and to be honest. Feels like.
A scam they're dispatching storage units that are pretty sketchy.I feel like there's something not right about this at all
User's recommendation: Beware do not.I repeat, do not business with them.Or any of their partners
They reserve xtra units at one time to. Why when i only need 1 reservation. ZERO STARS

I have been unable to have a chance to review my acc. and pay the proper amount for the months of August and September because I did not get a E-mail from Sparefoot that would allow me to review my bill. I will call Monday.
Storage Owners
I am a storage facility owner that has used SpareFoot for leads. I had numerous complaint from potential clients.
They use some out of country call centers and clients complain they are sometimes hard to understand and they have trouble understanding wants and needs of the potential clients. Persons that are only checking rates are aggressively pushed to make a reservation. This is irritating to the person. When I voice my complaints with SpareFoot management they have the attitude of if you do not like it do not use them.
I have lost customers because of the inability of their agents to verbally communicate with potential clients. They have made offers that I have not approved.

I booked a unit on saturday 11/11 after carefully reviewing the access hours listed on the website, after i checked into the unit i was told I had 1 hour to move in because it was a climate controlled unit and had limited access hours. I was unable to move in that day because it was raining.
I called them and they offered me a outside unit , smaller unit, 1 access door for the same price as i paid for a larger, climate controlled unit with 2 access doors.
I never moved into the unit & storage zone refuses to refund my money and sparefoot has not fullfilled their own policies. I think it is horrible for businesses to take advantage of Irma victims while we are in a vulnerable state still trying to find a place to live & now this BS.
NOT happy customer
Called phone number, thought it was the storage unit company, but was Sparefoot. Person who answered the phone did not make it clear that they were a third party managing the storage unit reservations.
Once this was clarified, they found a local storage unit and made me a reservation. Once they emailed me the reservation, I printed it out and went to the facility to verify reservation. They said they did NOT have a spot and would not honor the reservation. I am very frustrated!
I could have used the time finding a storage unit myself without the aggravation. Would NOT recommend using this service.
Look carefully at contact information online before calling to make sure you have the actual storage facility. NOT a transparent online advertising.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Total BS
I reviewed a storage facility nearby, and booked a move in date, just to recieve a call from the actual storage facility stating that the unit was no longer available, but that i could purchase one for almost 4 times the price i was given online.
WORSE EVER!!!!!
Fake and completely inacurate
I will just go to the actual facility and deal with people in person rather than deal with fake marketing companies with false information.
Apparently, this happens alot and the companies are forced to deliver the bad news to the consumer after given fake confirmation move in dates that don't even exist by this website that has absolutely zero credibility. Why is this site even here?
What's the purpose of this anyway?
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
Gross Misrepresention by Third-Party Online Marketing Group
I Googled "Monterey storage units" (CA) and was attracted by cheap, "discounted" rates at several local storage businesses. I phoned one, SpareFoot.com, to find out how many months the discounted rate was good for.
The agent repeated promised that the $86/month special (for a 10x12-foot storage unit) was guaranteed for at least six months, that the reservation would be held open for me, free of charge, for almost a month, etc. I found that these were not the terms when I visited the local site, and that their "special" rate was actually $3 less per month, but good for only one month, and then would go up to $149. The employee I talked with told me that SpareFoot is owned by a company that advertises under several storage-marketing businesses, including SelfStorage.com, which I also contacted with similar results. The local employee said that "this is not the first time this has happened." The local employee is forced to deliver the bad news to customers referred by these online entities.
Later the same day, I received an email from SpareFoot, taking credit for the referral. I replied to them that I would not be using the referral, citing their agent's misrepresentations, and not to contact me again.
. . .
so if you are tempted to reply to an online-only deal, look to see if the business name matches the name of the local storage facility.
If the business name is different, or if you "smell a commission" because the agent is promising you the moon, contact the local storage business directly. You may get an even better discount, as I was offered.
