Sorry Management and Customer Service team

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Sorry Management and Customer Service people I have ever deal with. Once I received mine, BMW X6. I took pictures and notice fresh scratch marks on the vehicle. I immediately contact the salesman, Alex and the transporter company; sent them both pictures of the scratch marks. Not only that, but I have been calling and leaving massages since Dec 13, 2021, with little and no response. I quest that's what kind of service you get after paying cash of $32,474.00. Sorry, excuses for a supposed to be a professional car dealership.

Buyer Beware

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
To begin with, this dealership does not care about its customers at all. Once they have your money, you are on your own. Here are a few on the issues I experienced. 1) They did not overnight the buyers paperwork when they said they would. 2) They didn't deposit my bank check promptly. 3) They didn't ship my car when they agreed to. 4) They offered to apply a PERMAPLATE coating valued at $900 to keep the deal together but when I asked about the warranty paperwork they claimed that there would be no warranty. 5) They did not send me copies of all of the signed paperwork that they promised to do. 6) They delivered the car with 1/4 tank of gas when I was promised a full tank. When I reported this I was told that they would send me a gift card for the gas. This has not happened. 7) They did not disclose that there was only one key fob instead of two. This will cost me $544.15 to get a replacement. 8) They did not disclose that the front passenger floor mat was missing. 9) They did not disclose that the battery was weak and would need replacing within the first two weeks. Cost $455.30. Dealing with Spanos Motors has been the most horrific business dealing that I have ever had in my 72 years. They are not trustworthy as they do not do what they say they will do. There is certainly a lack of transparency with their staff. There is an overall lack of integrity with the entire organization. If I could go back and change history, Spanos Motors would not be part of mine.

Customer chose to have the car shipped to him and not test drive. Customers can come at anytime and drive, view and do an overall inspection - he declined.

We gave this customer a wonderful deal that he jumped on.

His overnight demands conflicted with Fedex, not us. Sales Manager, Spanos Motors

A response from someone--"sales manager"

Original review Aug 30, 2019
After almost four months without plates-they made me pay $459 to get them--This in addition to the original plate charges of over $400---Had to pay or no plates--sort of a ransom--Looks like a pattern that occurs there too often--Cheated me !!!

Customer is responsible for their own taxes, tag and title fees. We just pass that cost over to the customer from their respective state.

By law dealerships cannot over charge and profit from those items. Sales Manager, Spanos Motors

So the extra NYS taxes were $250 and fees were $149----and I had already paid for fees of $425 on the bill of sale---You wanted more on the sales tax and you wanted me to pay a service fee of $170--that is bogus !!!! Do not think you treated me fairly---!!! Who am I talking to--the same person who coerced me in the first place ???

I bought a MB C63 AMG in August of 2018. After 10 days I had to take it into the shop because the harmonic balancer broke, wore *** in the motor case, and shredded the timing belt. I just paid 25K for the car now i had a 5k repair bill. I have been trying to get some reimbursement since then. They dont respond very well. Today, FINALLY, I heard back and they said there was nothing they could do. If they have a warranty they do NOT honor it. Check around i am not the first person to have this experience.

Spanos declined to refund our money and instead offered to give us credit on a turn in and purchase of another vehicle. More repairs have been made raising the total to $7,000 for a vehicle we purchased for $12,000. Spanos claimed they made a thorough inspection of the...

Original review Sep 30, 2018
We purchased a Mercedes for our Grandson in 2016 for approx $12,000 along with a Premium Warranty recommended by Spanos. Expenses as of Sep 2018 are over 50% of the purchase price and none has been covered by the Premium Warranty recommended by Spanos.

The Spanos Service Manager told us the warranty didn't fail us but we were just a victim of timing. According to him, the mileage indicated the particular vehicle we purchased was due to have problems about the time we purchased it. According to him, the good news was that since we had already spent so much on fixing the vehicle, future problems would be minimal.
For the last repairs in Aug 2018, Spanos tried to repair the vehicle but was unsuccessful. They dismantled the dash board, left it on the front seat, towed it to the Mercedes dealer and left it there.

We were on vacation at the time. When we returned 3 weeks later the car couldn't be located. Spanos claimed it was delivered to Mercedes and Mercedes had no record of the vehicle. I went to the Mercedes dealer and we looked through the yard and found the vehicle parked in the back with the keys on the front seat and the dismantled dashboard on the front seat.

Mercedes charged $1,400 to reinstall the dashboard and $200 for the repairs. Wtf

What I thought was a great deal, turned into Spanos Falsifying a trade in vehicle to try and get me into a loan so they could make money, which ended in the loan being sent back, after being in an accident and trying to contact spanos repeatedly with no response to see how much we owed on said vehilcle, we recieve a notice from their lawyer demanding 1,000 dollars within a week. Also got charged for gap insurance I was never provided with because the loan got denied. I would not recommend anyone going to Spanos Motors.

Spanos Motors just another dishonest used.car dealer.

Called them and asked if they still had a Mercedes E 350 convertible with a "Designo Package". Drove 30 miles to have a look. When I got there And asked for Angel he informed me the car was sold. He tried to BS me by saying he'd told me it was sold. Used car businesses have a bad enough reputation. Spanos is just another dishonest example.

Had a fantastic experience picking out then buying my new (used) car. Everyone at the facility was soo nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They made buying experience fun and easy. John our sales man knew everything about the cars I looked and Charlie the sales manager was helpful finding me the loan that best worked for me. I wish all lots were like this, it to 6 hours to by my wife's brand new car, I was out in just over an hour. Im looking at Mercedes for myself now - they have great prices and the cars are very unique. The GM and finance manager where very friendly and sat and explained everything. Im never looking or buying anywhere else!

Bad customer service

I bought a car from them that was supposed to be delivered in a week; it took three weeks before the car was finally delivered after multiple phone calls. Every time I called, They keep on passing the phone to someone who has no idea what was going on.

When I was able to speak to the sale's person, he promised to call back with update to no avail. When I finally heard from him, his excuse is that their mechanic had resigned , they had to hire a new mechanic.

Besides, they behave as though they are selling new cars and refuse any counter offer on their prices. Very bad customer service.

Just brought a Mercedes Benz from Spanos, after getting it back to Jacksonville Fla. the car wouldn't start several times, after calling letting them Know about the car wouldn't start I thought it was the battery. I tool the car back in which they put a new battery in after getting it back to Jacksonville again the car still had the same problem it would not start I finally got the car tested it was said the the starter wasn't go. so I made another trip to Daytona to get the problem solve, they didn't replace the starter they only cleaned the starter off it was said to have corodtion on it. I made made three trips there and they didn't want to get it right, sure they have the car but to service you will get after buying the car as of today I'm catching the bus to work and making my first payment this week they want the money but u will not get and service. Worst Dealership in Town

The worked on my buddies motor cycle and screwed it up. He had to have it repaired by someone else and he paid $350.00 additional. They told their mechanic not to worry about it and then a guy named Mike told Ray the owner of the bike that it was fine when it left. Don't buy anything from these slick lying car dealership. This dealership is the worst one in town. Run while you have a chance because they will screw you if you give them a chance and then they won't help you or fix anything after they have your money. They don't return phone calls and then they will tell you that don't have a copy of your paperwork. They won't even have copies of your receipts. They will tell you to provide them for them.

My opinion changed for the worse

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
After what was a reasonably pleasant buying experience, Spanos lost all credibility after the sale. The car is fine, but I was never given any of my sales paperwork (that was promised to be with the car when delivered) The refund of plate fees that I am due has never been sent (a violation of state law). The car was delivered with zero gas and a gift card that was promised twice in lieu of gas has not been sent....and of course no communication after repeated attempts. I will pursue them legally, what a shame to have to go through all of this....
