I have been eating breakfast at Spangles, Hwy 24, Topeka KS for over 10 years. I am so disappointed with the changes made recently regarding staff being relocated.

I grew up in a small town and had found that this North Topeka Spangles had the same atmosphere as a small town cafe. The reason for this was Brett as leader and his welcoming attitude with customers and his relationship with staff. I will now be looking for another welcoming place to eat and it will not be Spangles. Why would you make changes that causes you to lose business?

The staff made it through the pandemic and all the pressure that must have caused and this is their reward. Sad!

Ordered in the Drive-Thru. Upon arriving at the window, everything was handled by a guy whose mask was clearly settled below his nose.

I refuse the order upon seeing that the lady behind him, dispatching in filling orders from the Food line was also clearly wearing her mask below her nose. I asked for my money back, he provided it, after calling for the lady incorrectly wearing her mask, she was the manager, came to the window and asked me what my problem was. I told her simply, y'all aren't wearing your full masks directly, and I can't... She cut me off oh, and retorted that I wasn't wearing a mask on the passenger side of the van we were in, and that made me the problem.

I suggested I was better than 6 feet away from her, and I'm not the one handling food.

She cut me off and tried to slam shut the slow close window. I will not be returning.
