Srt is AKA SKID ROW TRUCKING
THEY THROW OUT A GOOD SALES PITCH BUT NONE OF IT IS TRUE. dispatch is 2nd rate they will leave you sitting for days between runs.
1 run I had was 700miles and delivery date was 6 days later. they would not allow me to drop and keep getting miles they told me to just deliver this load. i sat for 5 days on this 1 and made about $40 a day for that week. layover pay will put you in the broke house.
requesting time off was a disaster and never got a single day off and had to quit to get a day off. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY.
Everything you do they want you to use your money and then to get rienburst for it and you have to fill out paperwork and send to each department they stiplify and if anything is wrong on that papaerwork you dont get paid and no one calls you to correct it you are SOL. BIGGEST CLUSTER *** OF AS-HOLES AND IDI-TS I EVER SAW.....
- Only lasted 1 month
- Misleading and dishonest

Ya your story sounds like a crock of ***. Srt does everything they can to get drivers home.
Yes it may be in a timely manner but you have to think of how they have to look for loads getting you that way. And quitting because you couldn't get home. Was a *** idea. You couldve more than likely been home instead of being a *** and turning your stuff in.
IDC what anyone says. All companies have their great points and there horrible points.
Sorry to hear about your wife, but as far as you.... It sounds like you brought some of it on yourself.
You should have taken the permit book and prepass and keys into them when leaving. There are always more than one side to every story. What was the rest of that story and the full truth.
Don't ever put yourself in a compromising position when leaving a company. Be responsible and do the responsible and mature action of making sure they receive all of the equipment and items that were given to you when you were first hired.
not to mention the company is not required to get you home apon request . they say you get two days off after 14 out and that you have to give a 7 day notice if you need off. unless it's life or death or you are needed to care for her then the FMLA would protect you
