AI Highlights
  • Waited over 3 hours for a 1-hour epidural due to double booking.
  • Next day I was told Dr. Wild didnt appreciate me asking and I'm not welcome back.

On Tuesday the 23rd of July, I went to my 11:00 appointment at 10:50. My appointments take an hour to do a caudal epidural with Dr.

Bez. I'm in and out with the procedure in an hour. Since Dr. Bez is out on medical leave, I saw Dr.

Wild. I was in the room over an hour waiting to be seen. I asked the nurse at the desk what was the reason I have been waiting over an hour and haven't been seen yet. She replied that they were usually running 2 hours behind since they were double booking to see Dr.

Bezs' patients. The rudest thing I said, I said under my breath, is "This is ridiculous!" After more time Dr. Wild comes in, discusses my procedure and does it, I was in recovery for another 25 minutes. It was 2:00 when I left.

I had a driver waiting all that time for me. 3 hours!!! NO one mentioned to me prior that there is an extended wait because they decided to double book. This was the third appointment they booked for me since Dr.

Bez left, because of unknown reasons, they kept cancelling my appointments, and rebooking them. THE NEXT DAY, on Wednesday the 24th of July I get a phone call telling me that Dr. Wild did not appreciate me asking why there was a delay and that I was not welcomed back there. I have been going to SMPC for 15+ years.

This is NOT how to treat a patient who's patience has run out. Two appointments cancelled, waited months to get in, Waited 3 hours for something that should have taken an hour, to be treated this way??

User's recommendation: Find a friendlier doctor
