NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, WILL NOT STAND BY PRODUCT
I had a new HVAC system placed in my home by Southern Comfort HVAC, in Fayetteville, Ga. The whole house heater has broken down twice due to faulty parts.
One part broke down the day after installation. Had to order parts both times on new unit.
Both times they charged me a trip fee and an installation fee for a part that was covered by the warranty on the heater. They also sold me a air cleaner that would last a year without changing the filter. It does not filter and the filter only lasts 3 months.
Charged me $50.00 for the first visit to diagnose the problem, a second visit charge of $50.00 to install the part that had failed and had to be ordered plus $30 to install the part that failed that was under warranty. The part only cost $10.
Needless to say I no longer do business with them and I recommend no one else does. They do not stand behind their product and overcharge.
