Gift Card Scam Do not waste your time.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Horrible horrible company. I was sent the special offer for them to test my water at my house and I would receive a $50 and a$25 dollar gift card for my time no purchase required or anything.

Not only did I never receive the gift cards that Alex the General Manager promised since they for some reason do not give it to you the day of the examination, but they wasted 4 hours of my time!

The tech was over an hour late close to actually 2 hours late. AVOID this company very very dishonest and are doing a Gift card scam in hopes you will buy their product which I have seen many mix reviews about it with more being bad than good.

I was really happy when a rep from the company and I came to a mutual solution. It is a good thing when a company can step up to the plate and do the right thing, I an looking forward to a long time relationship! Thank You

Original review Jun 05, 2017

I spoke to two people at Southwest Water Systems about the issue I was having with my Softener and they wouldn't even compromise a solution to my problem. The first lady I spoke with got rude with me immediately (Christine I think) The second lady in the service department, ran the conversation in circles and wouldn't even help.

Here was my issue, In July of last year I had THEIR tech come our to move my 3 year old softener, That was a complete fiasco in the first place, I had to argue with him NOT to put my softener by my front door because he didn't want to dig along side my house, next he used the largest drill bit threw my wall for a small electric wire (I had to fix that later) a month later I noticed it was leaking resin, small amount at first then more and more. I thought maybe it would correct itself, maybe the resin needed to settle, after a few months it was still leaking. Another tech came out and looked at the softener. When I mentioned we moved it he suggested we might have damaged it in the move, I then told him Southeast Water moved it, he started to back peddle.

I asked for a compromise on price, nothing.. I said I didn't think I should pay at all really but do SOMETHING... nothing.

I guess they are a big enough company they don't have to worry about existing customers. MY ADVICE: Buy from someone else, because once you have a problem with Southwest Water they will not help you, and remember THEY are the only ones that can work on YOUR softener or it voids the warranty!!

Southeast Water System - Water Conditioning System Review

Southeast Water System - Water Conditioning System Review

Buyer beware! Better yet, buyer DON'T!

We paid $4500 for a whole house system and were promised some sort of special promotion. It took us 5 months to get the soap (concentrate) which may just be an Amway product. Long story short, if you call South Florida Water, you can get an Outdoor system for $2000.

Yeah we got ripped off! And didn't even get a free bag of salt.

We never got our $50 gift card too. We called twice.

Both times they said they’d mail it.. It’s better not to get the stupid gift certificate if they leave you alone.

This is a falsified review by a competitor. The equipment offered by Southeast water systems does not look like that, also the equipment offered by Southeast water systems is proprietary patented equipment. Furthermore, no customer would wait five months for any product without calling the company.

I dunno if this is a falsified review by a competitor. I am a new customer and trying to get my $50 gift card and the 5 years of soap proucts as promised and the follow up to test the water in my house.

I am trying to be patient, but seems like when I inquire about these things, the original saleman avoid the questions I ask. I will try to contact the company next and if I do not get what was said to be part of the purchase agreement, take further actions.

Dissapointed in Service

My husband and I just relocated, due to the hardness of the water in the area it was recommended that we got a water softener. We made some calls and got various quotes in the $3000 range with at most 10 warrantee on some parts of the system.

We heard about southeast water systems and later made a call. The sales rep came by our house and did the water test which was very eye opening for us. We told him that we need a WATER SOFTENER, he told us they don't do water softener but water CONDITIONER. We listened and not knowing better we bought into his lies and before he left we made the mistake of signing that contract for

$5000 for WATER "CONDITIONER" AND THE REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM.

The installer came the following day and while asking him some question which he reluctantly answered I realized they were not consistent to that of the sales person. At that moment I had a gut feeling to cancel BUT I ignored it. Base on the contract we should be getting three years supply of soap and a fifty dollar gift card. It has been exactly 1 month and not a word or email.

Each time a call the sales person its a different excuse. he should have visited two week after the installation to do a testing so we can see the difference if any. everytime I call him some excuse or gives a date and doesn't show up. called the receptionist and all she does is take number to pass on because she is not the person to talk to about it.

still awaiting that call from whomever I should be talking with. I hate writing reviews yet not so pleasant, but I don't want any body else to make the same mistake I did.

As much as you may want to believe "and take their words as is" these sales people remember there to do one thing and one thing only TO SELL, some don't have your best interest at heart. Do your research AND FOLLOW YOUR GUT FEELING IT IS USUALLY RIGHT.

I have a system with Southeast Water Systems; I have the whole house system with the three tanks and 5 year soap membership. We haven't had any problems at all. You should call and ask to talk with the manager, they'll take care of whatever problem you're having.

I recently moved into my new home. While just settling in I was bombarded with sales man one convoy in particular is SOUTHEAST WATER SYSYTEMS INC Located on Benjamin rd.

I fall into the trap of going through the whole water testing demo. To finally say I want the water softener. Now as the policy states I have 3 business days to cancel well I got the unit installed on Thursady 8/13th and I cancelled on 8/14th after reviewing my paperwork , shopping around. I realized this company and product is not for me.

I have never gotten so much push back and grief from a COMPANY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OVER TALKING INDIVIDUALS IN MT LIFE! I simply want to cancel and was told when asked ( when will someone come out to uninstall the unit) 22 days like really are you serious! How inconsiderate and slick does that sound ! As if they are trying FRAUD ME OF MY RIGHTS BY YRTIBG TO MAKE ME KEEP THIS UNIT ATTACHED TO MY HOME!

I advise anyone to do your research first and beware of this company! It's other better company's that provide the same unite if not better.

Survey Telephone call at 20.45 pm.

Caller from South East Water apparently doing survey on customer satisfaction with service and water quality. Asked who bill payer is. What employment status was and what his job is .

I Cut him off because too many personal questions and did not seem relevant to apparent objective of the call.

Was this a scam call? Should I report it anywhere else?

This is a falsified complaint made by competitors. Southeast Water Systems is A+ rated company with the Better Business Bureau with no outstanding complaints.

The company has thousands of satisfied customers state-wide. If there ever is any concern our actual customers have access to 24 hour customer service.

What is this person talking about??? The Culligan/Home depot rep ( not sales man) was very educational and helpful.

He was more concerned about making sure I understood all the issues with my water, savings I could gain, and the benefits of the other company's (or lack of)! What sold me is all the options he gave me and then let me decide. What really sold me was the fact he said the other water treatment company's meant well but they were misguided! The rep was here when my unit was installed, three days later to test my water and make sure I was happy.

Two days ago I revcived a note on the door saying he stopped in and rechecked my water at a outside hose!!! That was three weeks after my install! When I crunched the numbers it works out paying me in savings to have great healthy water! I guess Quality doesn't cost it pays!!

They also gave me free service for a year. Southwest water( Culligan ) is the best my wife and I are ecstatic!

My mother had this company put in a water system and she paid a pretty penny. Every year, Alex would show up and tell her that he needed to change filter, etc.

He would end up charging her an ungodly amount. She would pay it. This happened every year.

In August 2014, Mom had a leak in her irrigation system. She had called the irrigation company.

They were sending someone by. This guy shows up at her house on the same day. She thought he was there to fix that but he told her he was there to check her system. She told him "I did not call you." He said "Yes you did".

She called me immediately. I talked with him. I told him he needed to leave because he was not suppose to be there. He was telling me that if she didn't have her water system serviced, it could cost her thousands.

I reminded him that he was trespassing and he needed to leave immediately. He ended up giving her a bill and she paid it. Anyway, I called his company and left a message with the answering service and asked that they give him a message to call me. Guess what?

I have never heard from Alex. I believe in Karma. He will get back what he has taken from people.

Right now, I am looking at the charge on my Mother's credit card and it says "Southeast Water Systems, 813-901-****".

Southeast Water Systems showed up at my Mother's house last night uninvited. When I asked who called him and he said "Your Mom".

I found out later that this guy is one that is trying to trump up business and just shows up at old customer's houses and tells them they need $400 worth of work done. I told him he needed to leave or I would call the police.

I will NEVER use this company. Yes, the guy's name was ALEX, and he was a ***>
