Can’t get an answer to a simple question.
- I tried contacting the SC Bar Association with a question.
- You can't speak to anyone unless referred to a firm.
- Auto cases at 40% vs 33 1/3% previously.
I was trying to contact the SC Bar Association to ask a question. Like everywhere else you cant speak to anyone unless you are looking for them to refer you to a law firm.
My question is that I was under the impression that attorneys were limited to the contingency fee they could charged on a Workers Compensation case. The TV lawyers are all now charging 40% on Auto accident cases. Those cases for years were 33 1/3%. Everywhere, even in Israel.
I was not looking 4 one of the cheesy TV lawyers who haunt our local TV stations at nauseam. Website no help, Referred me to a law firm that would not disclose the fee % over the phone.
Why not? These crooked, cheesy lawyers need to be transparent &;;;;;;;; the SC Bar Association should be more than happy to answer questions.
Preferred solution: Call or email me a list of local Attorneys that charge 25% W/C cases
User's recommendation: Go in person to SC Bar
