Selling item

AI Highlights
  • The date is claimed to be 1055, not 1855.
  • Carbon dating is cited to verify 1055.
  • American horns have sold for up to $75,000.

Read date wrong on powderhorn the only explanation is person knows nothing about American or Western Europe powderhorns The one I sent was photo 1055 powderhorn it can be mistaken as 1855 but iPhone camera is not that great there were no decorations on horns in the 1800s the date is 1055 it can be verified by carbon dating. If you hold it or use a loop it is clearly 1055.

As for value I have sold American horns for $75,000 and some sell for more. This horn is the real thing and I would like to speak to someone knowledgeable

Preferred solution: Speak with knowledgeable person

User's recommendation: Talk don’t write
