Im fine with averts before and after programmes but not during them. For this reason alone I stopped watching Sony channels and any other channels that do this

with adverts. Certainly more often than any other movie channel I watch.
I now record the movies and fast forward at the adverts.

Poor sound quality and lack of subtitles

We are complaining about the sound on the Sony movie channels you have to have the sound up so loud to watch a film then when you change channels you have to turn it down as they are so much louder on other channels eg the news channel subtitles would be really helpful as such a shame as the movies are really good

Fed up with how many advert breaks and how long they are. So you get revenue from adverts but you will loose viewers.
Seriously Movies are meant to be watched in full no breaks, if you must have one then ONE ONLY. You say you love movies that's a joke, as far as i'm concerned you love adverts. Cut out the adverts and become a proper movie channel.
I never finish watching one of your movies as i get so fed up with all the repeated advert breaks i just turn over and watch Sky Movies, more up to date and no adverts. I hope you take this review on board.
I agree they have way too many adverts. I tried to watch a film the other night and I just could not get into it as there was too many adverts repeating them selfs and going too long. Think I spent more time watching stupid adverts than the movie.A don't think I'll be watching this channel again

I watched the advertising all week and looked forward to seeing what was the best version ever made of Billy the kid. Like all classic or cult movies they are only as good as the original version and to my horror the Bon Jovi soundtrack that was written specifically for the movie was deleted making the movie worse than just another western. 10 minutes of movie 5 minutes repeated adverts! Definitely a pissed consumer

We as viewers are fed up with S E T's repeated movies over and over. who ever is in charge of movie schedule at least take a look at it, to verify how often its been played within a month.
I mean if we talk about bollywood movies, theres about five same movie title in five decades. My point is there are so many movies to choose from.
My complaint is that same movies shouldn't be repeated even once in an year. There are some realty T.V shows that sony entertainment supports, and we as viewers appreciate and that is why we subscribe to SET.

Why doesnt sony movie channel have closed captioning?

As a legally deaf customer & recently receiving a new channel, Sony movie channel, I need closed captioning to understand what's going on. This new station has no cc & my husband who knows I cannot watch Tv without cc, gets upset & we don't get to watch whatever good movie is on.
What gives????
I realize a lot of people don't like or need cc-ok so push the off button & you wont see it..its not fair to us non-hearing people to have to miss out on today's movies, let alone on our pc's!!!! Help!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let us have subtitles on every SONY MOVIE channel on freeview and NOW tv. Like many I cannot hear speech and cosequently avoid SONY MOVIE channels.
PLEASE let us have subtitles (they also help foreign students learn English). PLEASE, they are essential for many, many hard of hearing viewers.
