Horrible experience. I have never encountered such an unprofessional company.

The foreman on the job gave us one cost for the additional wood that he and his crew were installing on the roof and the invoice came back 4 x the estimate. This resulted in an extra $4000.00. As a homeowner, we knew that wood needed replacing, however we also were trying to keep an eye on the expenses. Therefore we inquired to the cost and trusted the foreman on the job, as he was in charge of the job, he was the one putting on the new wood and he was representative of the company.

The owners response was his foreman should have never given us the estimate. However our reply was that he shouldn't have been the foreman and that if you give one price, changing it fourfold is unacceptable. It didn’t matter, the greedy owner, was going to place a lien on the house if we pursued it any further. Next problem, during the hurricane we lost one shingle on a brand new roof of less than 30 days old and over $16,000.00.

The company refused to reattach the one shingle without us paying $130.00. Yet our neighborhood received minimal damage from the storm and other houses in the development have roofs over 20 years old and never lost one shingle. The one shingle was never attached correctly in the first place and any type of wind would have knocked this one shingle off the roof. This was a workmanship issue and should have been replaced at zero cost.

The owner is a cranky greedy man and needs to retire. I have never seen such pathetic customer service. We paid a premium price for what we thought was a reputable company and got ripped off. Lesson learned and I will never recommend this company.

In fact being the president of our homeowners association, all residents will be forewarned. I am not expecting any recourse, however I just want this complaint on file to warn others.
